My first experience of Romados was when I first came to Montreal to visit about 8 years ago. Romados was delicious then & delicious still on my recent visit.

Romados stands out from the many Portugese chicken places in the area. Their chicken plates are delicious & the hot sauce compliments it perfectly. The roasted potatoes & salad were such wonderful pairings. A chicken 1/4 plate is definitely enough for one person. We opted for the dark meat. The chicken is so flavor & the skin is soo good.

Their Romados poutine is phenomenal. You HAVE to try it. Small is good to share for 2. It's just so balanced. Good fries, good chicken, good cheese & gravy. We got white meat for the poutine.

The staff here are just wonderful. Such down to earth friendly people. Their reviews speak for themselves.

Go & try it, you won't regret the detour.

Honestly, its ok. The food is fine but the prices are higher than at'ma poule mouillé', which is really close to the restaurant. It is much more worth it to go there because the prices are unmatched & the food quality is superior to here. Another thing I didn't like about this place, is that they charge you for nonsense. At the other restaurant they dont charge you for the sauce but here they do, which is insane because the food itself is also more expensive, so you would think that the sauce is included but no. Also, we bought these cream-filled donughts but they had no cream. They were basically empty. Another thing is that the bathroom here is really dirty too. It looks really old & nasty. In conclusion, just go to'ma poule mouillé'. Its less expensive, cleaner, the food tastes better & the vibe is amazing.

Fantastic stuff. Coffee is great but Portuguese delicacies are amazing... unbelievably tasty.

Tastiest & best value Portuguese chicken. It's mostly pickup but they have a few tables. You don't need to preorder, it's really fast . Montreal landmark

A CLASSIC Montréal institution. Delicious, original flavour & great service! A must when in Montreal. Even the desserts are excellent.
Very reasonable pricing for the portions!
