She deserves an almost full 5 stars;
this is the first time I have tasted smoked beef-tender, flavorful & beefy;
The cashier was welcoming & serviced us really well.
I choose this place since I see the Google photo is young & energetic, there are many smoked beef served in steak houses or some fancy places, but I do find them'hard' & I kinda not adopt to the'hospitality-smile' but this place gave me the simple , straight forward, easy , young vibe, which I really appreciate.
One thing I want is they can play some light jazz to enrich the dining experience.View more
We enjoyed the smoked meat sandwiches. They serve Halal smoked meat. My Children had it for the first time & they loved it. Place is clean, team is polite & service is excellent. We live in Ottawa & we spent one day in montreal. We are glad that we ended our wonderful day in Montreal with a nice smoked meat meals. We will try it again in our next visit 😀View more

This was a convenient location from our hotel. I felt like I wanted poutine so we stopped by here.
My wife also wanted a poutine to share with our 8 year old daughter. Ordering was a challenge as the person taking our order wasn't fluent in English (& I am not fluent in French). As a result, instead of ordered two poutines & one of them topped with something, I somehow ordered a poutine & a sandwich with a side of poutine.
It worked out though as we were hungrier than we realized.
Overall, the food is very delicious. If my wife had a redo, it would be to order the sandwich with more meat. I believe it's called their roast meat sandwich.View more

There is Kevin the frenchie who rocks the place, then there is the kitchen staff being as slow as can be. Poutine is acceptable. Smoked meat is not the best I've had, but the only halal I've heard of. Prices are a bit high for the portion sizes, in my opinion... but again, the only halal smoked meat I've heard of. The place took a few weeks to really take off, but now that a few local influencers visited, hopefully they will be there to stay.View more
