Rockaberry offers customers a wide array of home-made pies made with only the finest ingredients. Relaxing in an enchanting decor, customers are offered over 30 different pies to choose from including strawberry, cherry, strawberry and peach, double chocolate and pineapple to name only a few.
Rockaberry is described as a cozy cake and pie shop with generous slices and a welcoming vibe that dessert lovers return for. Reviewers praise staples such as apple crumble pie, strawberry cheesecake, red velvet and Boston cream along with tarts, noting the flavors and textures are often standout and the atmosphere is inviting whether indoors or outdoors. Some comments mention rising prices and smaller takeout portions compared with what is on display, with a few reports of underwhelming pies or order mix ups. Service experiences vary, with many highlighting friendly, helpful staff but others recount mediocre or rude treatment that dims the experience. Plans to reserve in advance for full cakes are advised since items can sell out, though the shop is repeatedly called a top pie destination. A minority note a tense moment regarding atmosphere during a particular visit.
Pros: cake was good, staff was nice, good place to study
Cons: I spent about 45 minutes in the washroom because the cake did a speed run through my gastrointestinal system, so I didn't do much studying.
8/10, would study here again, kinda my fault for choosing that loaded of a cake.
My friend ordered the cherry crumb cheesecake & delivered it to me & its literally SO DELICIOUS...everything pairs so well! The graham is so much, the cheese is cheesing & the cherry is hitting. Orginally, I was gonna go for the strawbeerry shortcake & then the blueberry crumble but then last minute went with the cherry & WHO woulda THOUGHT. I must say i thought the cake would be higher, but the taste & the generosity of the cumble makes up for it. So yes, i recommend, but i should say that i think the cherry flavor is seasonal?, anyway its winter time, if ever u cant find it on the menu.
The guy who worked yesterday from 11 to 1:00, I want to say a big thank you for the friendly welcome & atmosphere, the best restaurant, I highly recommend it!!!!
I wanted a slice of pie to take home & was shocked at the price. The portions used to be bigger & now they are smaller. For one slice it was about 13$ with tax & was quite ordinary.. the tuxedo cake at Costco is 19.99$ before tax & can get many slices out of it. I would not go back to get one slice as it was too expensive.
The staff was truly wonderful. I think that the spot being on the smaller side, people occupying a lot of space for no reason should be reasonable. The teenagers loved it. Huge pies but delicious

Really not a fan of cheesecake but I liked the quality of strawberry cheesecake here. They also have normal chocolate cake options. The tarts look really tasty. The staff was helpful while ordering.
Picked up Apple crumble pie a few minutes ago. As others have mentioned the quality has indeed come down & price has increased. The crumble pie is both me & my wife's favorite from here. But this time the apples were raw. Didn't like it & struggled to finish it.
Edit- We ended up throwing the cheap raw apples & ate only the crust.
