Really nice cafe spot to cure that sweet tooth syndrome with a fat slice of pie cake. It was a great service from the kind Adam & Sandra who saw me drop my coffee & offered to make a new one free of charge (& embarrassment). Will most definitely come back just because of that!View more
This new Rockaberry has a modern feel in the design, & everything looks very nice! There was quite a few people in the cafe either studying, or enjoying time with friends or on a date (it was a Wednesday evening). The cake (Crème Boston) was good, & the service too. The only downside is the price, I feel it's a little expensive (with tips, it came back to 12$ for a single slice). Other than that, it's a great cafe to go if you're ever in the area!View more
A Sweet Slice of Heaven at Rockaberry! Beyond pies, their coffee & tea selections are thoughtfully curated, making it the perfect spot for a cozy afternoon break. The ambiance is relaxed & friendly, ideal for both catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet moment alone. Rockaberry doesn't just serve food; they create an experience. Their commitment to quality, combined with their warm hospitality, makes it a must-visit for anyone who appreciates the finer things in life. I left with a full stomach & a happy heart, already planning my next visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a delightful treat!View more
I have encountered many foolish things in life in my 65 years of living. Went to Rockaberry in DDO as my grandkids love their Strawberry Shortcake. I asked for a full cake. Answer I received was" sorry sir we only have one cake with one piece missing. I said perfect, sell it to me & I will pay for the full cake at $33. Sorry sir we are not allowed to do that? We can sell it to you as slices. How much per slice, I asked? Five slices will cost, $11/slice, $55." I was dumbfounded to say the least. I was told corporate policy that once the cake is sliced, they cannot sell it as a whole pie. I was not paying an additional $20 just on principal. Lousy customer service at 5pm on a holiday when the store was closing very soon. I guess someone will pay $11 a slice tomorrow for day old cake
Had the strawberry shortcake last week. First of all it was way too sweet & even though it was cut from a new cake this slice seemed a little dry. Finally there were very few strawberries inside. No way it was worth the $10 price. If they want to charge that much they need to do a much better job.
