We visited Roasters BBQ Grill & Bar at Marché Central & ordered a decent variety: the Hot Lips burger (with sweet potato fries), a fried chicken burger with regular fries, a teriyaki salmon wrap, mac n cheese, a quarter chicken, a cappuccino, & a brownie cake with ice cream for dessert.
Unfortunately, the experience landed somewhere in the middle, & it's a noticeable drop from what I remember. I used to have very good quality meals here, but something has clearly changed over the last decade - the food & service just aren't what they used to be. Service was slow this visit - noticeably longer wait times than expected for both being seated & having food arrive. Food quality was inconsistent for the price point, & flavor was a bigger issue than expected: the Hot Lips burger, despite being recommended by our waitress as spicy, had no real heat or kick to it. The fried chicken burger's spicy mayo was underwhelming too, lacking any real spice. Across the board, the food came out bland & forgettable.
Dessert & coffee were also average. The cappuccino wasn't executed properly - it came out watery, far from what a real cappuccino should be. The brownie cake with ice cream tasted overly sweet & commercial, more like an industrial, mass-produced dessert than something made in-house.
Nothing here was outright poor, & the variety on the menu (BBQ, burgers, seafood wraps, comfort food) makes it a reasonable option if you're in the Marché Central area with a group wanting different things. But between the bland flavors, slow service, underwhelming coffee & dessert, & the noticeable decline in quality from years past, it didn't live up to what this place used to be.
3/5 - decent variety & nothing offensive, but bland execution, slow service, & a quality drop from what I remember hold it back.
Great food & great service. I came alone & was first offered a seat at the bar, but I preferred a regular table & they kindly accommodated me. Everything was excellent
We came to Roasters after visiting the Festilumi event. We were seated right away, but it took about 10mins before the waitress came to take our order. It WAS busy because there was a large group dining in this section around 7:30pm. Ambiance is nice. We ordered some mocktails & fried calamari. The calamari was some of the best I have ever had. Fish & chips had big portions of fish, not slimy, nice & crunchy, fries were tasty. The rib burger was very good. The 8oz steak & side of Mac & cheese was very tasty. The only complaint was the timing for service. We noticed a manager was helping to expedite orders.. he served us more than the waitress did. After the meal was finished, I caught our server to mention we were ready for our bill, after 15mins, we had no sign of her, I waited next to the kitchen entrance about 5 mins for someone to notice me so that I could ask for the bill again, which was brought by the manager.
If I am back again in this area, I might dine here again, but in the bar section instead.

Les plats étaient très bons & chauds. Nous avions pris le sandwich au porc effiloché, qui est énorme, & le steak qui était parfaitement cuit & assaisonné. Notre serveuse s'est démenée toute la soirée pour offrir le meilleur service possible alors qu'il manquait visiblement de personnel. Elle a toute notre admiration. Les cocktails étaient eux aussi bons. Cependant, il manque de gestion à l'avant. Malgré nos réservations, nous étions plusieurs à devoir attendre ou à ne pas avoir de table. Normalement, ce sont ceux qui réservent qui ont les tables & ceux qui ne réservent pas attendent ou s'assoient au bar. Quand nous l'avons fait remarquer à l'hôtesse, elle nous a dit que non, un peu malaise, comme si elle ne savait pas quoi dire. Sa réponse fût semblable pour un autre couple. C'est le seul point décevant.
Tout étais superbe service impeccable la bouffe etais delicieuse le service étais A1 gentille , éfficace , rapide , mention d'honneur au cher TOUT nos plats étais bon a s'en lèché les doigts & l'ambiance omg la musique le décor l'arrangement des tables le bar a l'entrée !! Impressionnant & des belles toilettes propre on aime sa ! 🤣

MAIS, Après plusieurs essais, ce n'est pas faute d'avoir essayé... on ne peut pas dire qu'on a un mauvais service, on a juste PAS de service ! Au bar, aux tables, toujours la même chose, on ne s'occupe pas de nous... pourtant, on est loin d'être des clientes désagréables.
Relaxed atmosphere with sleek design. Cocktail menu looks extensive but i don't drink. I got a ridiculously big burger. Tasted kinda basic but looked cool. Fries were just ok. Our waitress Samantha was a gem. Its hard to find a fault with this place but there isn't really anything write home about. It's a pretty basic burger bar with a chill vibe. Check it out after the movies maybe
