Très bon resto! Vaut le détour !
J'y suis allé pour l'occasion de Mtl à Table & c'était top ! L'ambiance est vraiment sympa, avec une architecture très amenante & invitante. Le volume sonore est très correct & la musique de bon goût.
Les entrées proposées sont succulentes & surtout l'aubergine & sa straciatella. un délice!
Les polpettes, la focaccia & le thon (un peu trop de jus à mon avis) sont aussi très bon.
En plat, la pizza Automno, cuite dans leur four à bois magnifique, est délicieuse & la base Mornay se sent très bien, mais l'ajout de petit piment apporte un plus à ne pas délaisser! (peut-être à revoir la place de la sauge qui n'a pas un goût très prononcé)
Le rigatoni & macreuse de boeuf sont très bon aussi, mais ce n'est pas des pâtes fraîches. (un plus qui ferait toute la différence)
Par exemple, je ne reste pas indifférent face aux desserts proposés; la tartelette est effacée par la chantilly ajoutée par-dessus, & le gâteau aux épices d'automne est moins ferme qu'attendu & donc atypique, mais très bon.
Le Rita est définitivement un resto auquel je retournerai vu la qualité de la nourriture & du service - la serveuse à été très agréable & de bon humeur.
Des pâtes parfaitement al dente avec des sauces bien balancées. Dessert succulent. Service exceptionnel & chaleureux.

HOLY GUACCC this food was amazing. I went for a business meeting & I offered my food up for everyone to try because I thought it was the ultimate seller 😂😂 Literally, this food helps close deals. Also the olive oil dessert was so 🤤
The food at Rita was good, we tried a pizza, a pasta, & an appetizer, & everything was tasty, though nothing particularly memorable. The potato millefeuille, however, deserves a special mention, it was excellent.
The ambiance is cute & cozy, with more of a family-style feel than a trendy one. For one appetizer, one pizza, one pasta, two desserts, & a bottle of wine, our bill came to about $200 including tip, which felt reasonable for what we got.
The service was okay, our server was friendly, but couldn't answer our questions about the wine list, which was a bit disappointing.
The biggest downside was being asked to leave exactly two hours after our reservation started. I know the policy is mentioned when booking, but it was the first time I've been asked to leave before even finishing my glass of wine. The restaurant was half empty, but since we were seated at the bar, we still had to go.
Overall: good food & pleasant ambiance, but the service & overall experience could definitely be improved.
We had a great experience here. The food was very good & lives up to the hype. The menu is medium sized diverse in flavors. The service is very good. Servers are working together so you are never looking for anyone. Dessert should not be skipped. The olive oil cake is incredible. I would have liked a few more cocktail options but the wine list is big. The space is get pretty & the background noise isn't intrusive so you can easily catch up & chat.

Le service était irréprochable. Notre serveuse a su nous guider à travers le menu en nous expliquant les plats de façon à nous faire saliver. C'en était presque poétique.
Entrée de stracciatella avec tomates ancestrales fraîches, sur un coulis de pesto. Rafraîchissant & délicieux. Nous avons agrémenté cette excellente entrée avec un extra de foccacia maison toute aussi savoureuse.
Pizza par la suite, style napolitaine. Tout simplement exquise avec des ingrédients frais. Les plats de pâtes fraîches maison semblaient tout aussi succulents. Un choix déchirant à faire entre les deux.
& un bon dessert choco noisette décadent pour terminer le tout.
J'y retournerai assurément, lors d'une prochaine visite à Verdun.
The food was... just alright! The first server was unfriendly, but the second one was nice. The ambiance of the restaurant was decent, yet it didn't quite match the hype. The menu had a variety of options, but none stood out as particularly memorable. The dessert, however, was a pleasant surprise, offering a sweet note to an otherwise mediocre meal. Despite the lackluster experience, the second server's warm demeanor made the visit a bit more enjoyable.

From drinks to appetizers all the way to the dessert, not a single dish disappointed
Went there both in July 2023 & September 2024, & so I sat outside & inside. Great vibe either way, the terrace was very comfortable & the tables weren't stuck to one another at all, but roomy. The inside is also very nice & cozy. The service & food was great, & the presentation of the food too. The staff knew a lot about each item on the menu as well as the cocktails. They had a dessert in September 2024 which looked just like a peach, & was made with real peaches, but to my surprise, it was a pastry, which was the coolest thing ever.
Sans aucun doute un de mes restaurants préférés à Montréal ! À tel point que je m'y rend souvent. La carte change régulièrement & en fonction des saisons, & tout est toujours délicieux ! Des antipasti, au plat, jusqu'au dessert, en passant par les cocktails ! Beau resto & toujours un service agréable & irréprochable. Définitivement recommandé
We came here to celebrate a special occasion. Highly recommend booking as can get quite busy even for a weekday evening. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by a friendly face & our waitress Clara attended to us as soon as we sat down. We couldn't decide on the wine & she kindly offered us a taster. For food, we decided to have the fresh Buffarella & Red Beets as starter alongside with bread, followed by the Raviolotto for main. The quantity is decent so this was sufficient for us. The Buffarella was very fresh, sweet & delicate, highly recommended. Red beets on the other hand, in comparison, was a little more ordinary. The Raviolotto was very well made, pasta tasted fresh & the filling, sauce & mushrooms on the side accompanied this dish extremely well. Would definitely recommend this! A word of warning, it is on the slightly heavy side. Lastly to finish, we ordered the Olive Oil Cake. This was extremely tasty, moist & its texture perfectly dense yet light! Really enjoyed this as a dessert & a healthy choice to finish! Clara was extremely attentive & made the evening even better. We had an amazing experience here & would no doubt be visiting again in the near future. Thank you for the amazing service & making us feel very welcomed!

Rita is amazing, an authentic Italian food experience, I've been multiple times & always left more than satisfied & very pleased with the service. Shout out to chefs Erica & Joey who made our the dessert for our wedding, Rita's amazing olive oil cake, I would highly recommend if you have room for it ;)
I love the ambience of this restaurant. Very pretty. So, all of the dishes were great.. really yummy!! We had mozzarella & bread as an appetizer, the bread was very nice & fluffy. It came with some asparagus which was good as well(& I don't usually care for asparagus) The pasta dishes were so good. Delicious sauce, well cooked gnocchi. The special of the night which is the ravioli, was very good. Only suggestion is that there be maybe.. bigger or more pieces of shrimp added inside. It was so good but you'd only get so many bites of it with shrimp! :( Only critique I have of the gnocchi, is that my dish could've been warmer. The Panna Cotta dessert was soooo good, I wanted more. My cocktail was tasty Our server was very nice & helpful, 10/10. Update(2nd visit): Very good pasta. Service was great & the panna cotta was delicious & addictive as expected Update(3rd visit): I had the special truffle non-cut ravioli...Soooo yummy, not too salty like other places. My cocktail was good, just not for me. Definitely a good choice for whisky & bourbon lovers (i forgot the name but it starts with « pomme ») The dessert was so good, ice cream with chocolate chips & espresso to pour on top. Great service once again. As a whole I'd give it a 9.5/10. Here's why: the top of the pasta was a bit undercooked. However, towards the bottom it was well cooked, so it was still enjoyable.
Wow wow wow! First time visiting. The polpettes, the pizza, the pasta, the desserts & espresso. Top-notch. When our server told us the special I thought he was reciting poetry to us lol (it tasted like poetry as well ✨). My partner & I spent a lot of time focused on the food, licking our cutlery clean & staring off into the distance, savouring what was one of our favourite meals of 2023. Thank you!
Une excellente découverte comme resto avec une superbe ambiance! Nous étions 4 personnes avec une réservation à 19:30 & le resto était plein à notre arrivé. Environ 10 min. d'attente seulement & nous étions assis pour une belle soirée avec un repas succulent à la saveur de l'Italie & un service hors pair de notre serveur Pierre Joseph. Nous avons tous pris des entrées soit de saucisse & Rapinis & salades. Comme repas principal Tortellis à la courge & Pizza Verdun hot honey & Marinara. C'était tout simplement délicieux! Le dessert le gâteau à l'huile d'olive était tout simplement succulent & incroyable! L'ambiance du resto est sympatique & très agréable. Nous avons quitté à 22:30 après 3 heures à cet endroit & les tables étaient tounours tous occupées malgré l'heure tardive un Mercredi soir. Réservé à l'avance pour une expérience relaxante, agréable, & savoureuse, vous ne serez pas déçu.
Excellent food: everything tastes perfectly delicate & balanced, & is absolutely delicious.
Excellent atmosphere: I love all the family photos, & the noise of jolly conversations & cutlery clacking puts you immediatley in a good mood.
Excellent service: our waitress (Sophie) came at perfect intervals & handled all of our requests & questions with expertise & professionalism.
It's somewhat expensive (after tax & tip, I paid a bit over 70 bux for a starter, a pizza, a glass of wine & a dessert), but you get what you pay for, which can't be said for many fancy restaurants in Montreal !
