Serving homemade ice cream since 1984, Ripples has a vast selection of interesting, colourful flavours to suit all palates.
Montrealers have grown to enjoy warm sunny days and summer nights with a scoop of Ripples creamy ice cream, delicious frozen yogourt, or thirst-quenching sorbet.
Overall, Ripples is described as offering excellent ice cream made in house with a wide range of flavors, including mango options that are especially popular, and even take away ice cream sandwiches. Lines can form outside at times, but the product is worth the wait, with friendly and quick staff. The option to taste each selection before choosing a scoop is appreciated, and a stamp card program can earn a free scoop. The experience is enhanced by attentive service and a nice owner, and many feel inclined to return for the quality and variety.
Great ice cream options, I love the take away ice cream sandwiches they make too. There's rarely a wait & the staff have always been friendly & quick. I rather come here than other ice cream places nearby because it's made in house & you don't have to wait forever to be served. Plus they have a stamp card program where your 10th ice cream is free!

Excellent flavour of ice cream & a nice owner with great service. You can have a taste of each selection before asking for a scoop.I will visit this place again.
Jai mangé le meilleur cornet de ma vie hier au Ripples. Caramel salé ( la meilleure affaire au monde) + rose & fenouil. Je vais m'en souvenir toute ma vie. Super service aussi!
This place is a nice little finding. The detour is worth it. It's a local business, not a big chain, & it shows. Unique flavors & great service. You can feel that the ice cream maker put passion in their craft. I thoroughly recommend. Not a lot of room inside to chill & eat (especially with the rain these days) but then again, it's an icecream parlor, not a restaurant.

I did not understand all the positive reviews... the ice-cream is quite ordinary. My lemon sorbet was icy & tasted very industrial. For the best ice-cream in Montreal, walk south one block to Kem Coba.
Innovative & eclectic ice cream store in Mile End. They have classic flavors but also things you can't get anywhere else like halavah, rose with candied fennel, & cardamom & pistachio (kulfi). The regular flavors are great too! A small is only $4.25 & it's a generous portion for one person. The service is friendly. There is limited seating inside & a few benches outside. The best idea is get some ice cream & explore the amazing neighborhood.
La glace fut bonne mais la serveuse était ni avenante, ni agréable. Ça a vraiment gâché l'expérience sachant que c'était la première fois que j'y allais.
