Serving homemade ice cream since 1984, Ripples has a vast selection of interesting, colourful flavours to suit all palates.
Montrealers have grown to enjoy warm sunny days and summer nights with a scoop of Ripples creamy ice cream, delicious frozen yogourt, or thirst-quenching sorbet.
Ripples earns praise for ice cream made in-house with excellent quality and a bold range of flavors, including mango that stands out, along with phrases like Délicieux crème glacée and Excellente qualité de produits. Tastings allow a sample of each option before selecting a scoop, and take-away ice cream sandwiches add to the appeal. Staff are described as friendly and quick, with rarely a wait, though occasional lines form when a single person is working. A stamp card program offers a free scoop after several purchases. A nice owner and great service are mentioned. Compared with nearby options, Ripples is favored for its fresh, in-house product and convenience. Plans to return are common.
Great ice cream options, I love the take away ice cream sandwiches they make too. There's rarely a wait & the staff have always been friendly & quick. I rather come here than other ice cream places nearby because it's made in house & you don't have to wait forever to be served. Plus they have a stamp card program where your 10th ice cream is free!

Excellent flavour of ice cream & a nice owner with great service. You can have a taste of each selection before asking for a scoop.I will visit this place again.
Jai mangé le meilleur cornet de ma vie hier au Ripples. Caramel salé ( la meilleure affaire au monde) + rose & fenouil. Je vais m'en souvenir toute ma vie. Super service aussi!
This place is a nice little finding. The detour is worth it. It's a local business, not a big chain, & it shows. Unique flavors & great service. You can feel that the ice cream maker put passion in their craft. I thoroughly recommend. Not a lot of room inside to chill & eat (especially with the rain these days) but then again, it's an icecream parlor, not a restaurant.

I did not understand all the positive reviews... the ice-cream is quite ordinary. My lemon sorbet was icy & tasted very industrial. For the best ice-cream in Montreal, walk south one block to Kem Coba.
Innovative & eclectic ice cream store in Mile End. They have classic flavors but also things you can't get anywhere else like halavah, rose with candied fennel, & cardamom & pistachio (kulfi). The regular flavors are great too! A small is only $4.25 & it's a generous portion for one person. The service is friendly. There is limited seating inside & a few benches outside. The best idea is get some ice cream & explore the amazing neighborhood.
La glace fut bonne mais la serveuse était ni avenante, ni agréable. Ça a vraiment gâché l'expérience sachant que c'était la première fois que j'y allais.
