Riaz Kabab specializes in the art of traditional Afghan and Middle Eastern charcoal-grilled meats. The menu features tender skewers of marinated lamb and chicken, cooked over an open flame to ensure a distinct smoky flavor profile. These proteins are accompanied by fluffy basmati rice, aromatic spices, and house-made sauces that reflect classic regional cooking techniques. Freshly baked naan bread provides a warm, authentic foundation for every platter served within the space. The kitchen emphasizes high-quality halal ingredients, ensuring that all dishes adhere to strict culinary standards. Diners encounter a focused selection of robust, flavorful plates that prioritize meat preparation and traditional vegetable side dishes. This establishment maintains a commitment to time-honored recipes that define the rich culinary heritage of the Middle East through every carefully crafted serving.
Riaz Kabab consistently receives praise for its delicious, authentic, and high-quality Afghan cuisine, with many diners highlighting the juicy meat, fresh bread, and generous portion sizes. Customers frequently mention the friendly, respectful, and attentive service that enhances the welcoming atmosphere, while the availability of clean prayer spaces adds to the thoughtful experience. Although some minor feedback suggests adjustments to rice preparation, the overall consensus points to a satisfying, reasonably priced dining destination that provides excellent value for families and individuals alike, whether they are dining in or opting for reliable delivery.
First time eating here, I was totally blown away by the freshness of the food, meat, bread, was served in record time & everything was sooo delicious! Highly recommend! Plus the waitress was very polite & super cute! ❤?
?I was really disappointed with my visit. The Sultani kebab was incredibly tough-impossible to cut even after asking for it to make it well-done. On top of that, we were overcharged, forcing me to drive back to the restaurant just to get a refund.
?I also tried the Afghan Sheer-Yakh ($14), which was a major letdown. It was halfway liquid milk & looked nothing like the counter photo. Having eaten this traditional Afghan ice cream many times elsewhere, the quality & price point here just don't line up.
?The only saving grace was the rice, which was cooked to perfection. I hope management addresses these food quality & billing issues.
Me & my friend ordered the soltani kebab & unfortunately both of us got food poisoning the next day. Only the people who ordered the soltani kebab got food poisoning, so I think there was something wrong with the meat.

I had no expectations from a strip-mall fast food joint but was completely shocked at how good the food was; the soup was spectacular & the mantu were very very tasty.
& the bread, OMG! Soooo good!
Went to Riaz kebab with a friend & honestly, it was one of those easy, satisfying food experiences you don't forget.
We kept it simple: one Chapli kebab & one Sultani, then shared both. Good decision because both were solid. Meat was tender, juicy, & properly flavourful - not dry at all, just the way you want it when you're craving proper desi grill food.
Before the mains, they brought out salad & soup as appetisers, along with naan & eggplant. Everything just worked together. Nothing felt extra or missing. & yeah, we finished it off with green tea which honestly was perfect to settle everything down after such a heavy, satisfying meal 🍵
What stood out just as much as the food was the service. Really respectful & smooth. On top of that, I was able to pray Zuhr there as well - they had a clean space & even offered a prayer mat, which made things really comfortable & thoughtful.
Overall, very happy experience. Good food, good service, & a place that actually feels welcoming beyond just the meal 👍
Worst service ever, we went there as a family with children , the staff working there on Sunday night were so rude , we left before we could order. We were completely neglected , we almost had to force them to do the bare minimum. The place & atmosphere is quite dreadful.
The quality went down to an unbelievable point. The meat was literally rotten literally & when exchanged the second piece was very salty & blue. I will never get back. Too bad, this was my favorite restaurant for years.
