Je n'ai jamais reçu mon plat principal.
Le serveur ne savait pas comment séparer l'alcool/la bouffe sur les factures, nous avons été 30 mins à gérer ça avec lui & il y avait toujours des erreurs.
Allez ailleurs, ça ne vaut pas la peine! Très décevant!View more

Been to Palme many times over the years & had such a great experience today that I decided to write this review.
I typically bring friends who are visiting Montreal to Palme because the food is so flavourful & their menu has a good variety of options. Today several dishes were tried & enjoyed by all!
The ambiance is relaxing - whether sitting inside or on the terrasse. I also have to add that every time I have been there, the customer service is exceptional & attentive, which for me is an important part of creating a positive dining experience. Definitely recommend. Super happy that they have a few days of the week where they are open for lunch as well!View more

Went here for dinner last night with some friends & had the poulet à la jerk. The food is phenomenal & the spices are to die for. The restaurant was crazy busy when we got there & there was a big wait for everything, but the server was really nice & the food made it so worth it.View more

So I actually dined here with some friends when we were on a trip back in August 2023 & we actually all still talk about how good the food was here. The drinks were great, vibe was great, but the food was spectacular. I ordered the jerk chicken & it was literally so good I ordered another one to take home with me. I still think about this meal to this day. Would highly recommend.View more

C'est la 3ème fois que nous nous rendons dans ce restaurant, nous pensons que c'est la fois de trop. La qualité de nourriture se dégrade à chaque fois. La nourriture n'est vraiment pas équilibrée. C'est très épicé, très salé & la viande sèche. C'est comme si le chef ne goûtait jamais sa nourriture pour s'assurer des goûts. Nous avons du mal à
recommander cet établissement.
Cependant le reste de l'expérience dans ce restaurant était convenable.

Tried Palme Restaurant for a solo lunch recently-it's just a five-minute walk from my office, so perfect for a midday break. First thing I appreciated: they offer a lunch menu, but only Thursdays & Fridays from 11:30 to 3 PM. A nice little treat if you're nearby & want something a bit special without overthinking it.
I ordered the fried chicken bowl & asked if I could add a half-portion of sweet potato fries. The staff was super accommodating about that. Heads up: portions are generous. I couldn't finish it all, but trust me, that fried chicken is worth pacing yourself for. Light, crispy outside, juicy inside, with a thin honey sauce that's subtle-just enough to tie it all together without making the chicken soggy or overly sweet. One of those bites where you pause & think,'Okay, they get it.'
They also include their homemade pikliz, which is spicy (the real kind, not the'hint of spice' kind). So if you're new to Haitian cuisine, be ready for a kick-it's the good kind of heat, though, fresh & sharp.
The only thing I wasn't entirely sold on was the mesclun salad. A few leaves felt either a bit wilted or too wet, not sure if it was old greens or maybe just a heavy hand with the vinaigrette.
All in all, it came to about $30 with tax & tip, which felt fair for the quality & amount of food. Especially nice if you're looking for something flavorful & filling but not overly heavy for lunch.
Would I go back? Absolutely-especially if I'm craving that fried chicken again.View more

We recently celebrated our staff Christmas dinner at Palma.I can't thank Fabio & his team enough for making it an amazing evening. The food was outstanding. Wagu sliders were delicious. The Sushi boat platters were smoking!! Literally. The steaks were cooked to perfection.Everything was spot on, including the service. Our waitress was amazing as was the support staff. Excellente découverte! rien ne préjugeait que nous aurions un jour été souper dans le Village & pourtant, grand mal nous aurait pris! car ici, l'accueil & le service sont particulièrement très bon & la nourriture y est tout aussi bonne! n'hésitez donc absolument pas a y faire un petit tour, car, vous vivrez là un voyage culinaire au pays des Caraïbes ;-)View more
