Review Summary

Resto Los Planes is widely recognized for serving authentic, high-quality, and generous portions of Salvadoran food, with many patrons praising the pupusas as the best in Montreal. While the dining experience is frequently described as warm, welcoming, and reminiscent of home-cooked meals, a significant number of reviews highlight inconsistent service standards. Some guests encounter friendly and professional staff, while others report rude interactions, slow service, and issues regarding takeout accuracy or closing times that contradict posted hours. Despite some concerns regarding occasional pricing or food texture, the restaurant remains a popular destination for those seeking traditional flavors and an inviting atmosphere.

Recognized that warm hospitality only an authentic latin establishment offers. Good food. Great portions. Attentive service. This place is my favorite in the area hands down. Must try if you haven't yet.

I go there all the time. I think they have the best pupusas in town, & I've tried them everywhere. Except for the tacos (pretty bad, barely warm tortilla that tears when you pick it up) the food is great. Their nachos are also the best I've tried in Montreal, nothing to do with gross nachos from a bar.

Service is slow, the waitresses can't define well their priorities. They will spend a longtime at the cash while food is ready to go to the table. They should always take the food first & then everything, before it's cold. Or they stare at the TV show while you want a glass of water.

Anyways, just don't get tacos & you're fine. Very authentic & great food.
