I had wanted to come to this restaurant for a while but after the experience I had last night, I don't think I'll be coming back. The vibe of the place is really nice, however the service & the quality of the dishes were sub par. My partner & I felt that a lot of the dishes were missing something to really make it memorable. Not enough seasoning here, or not that fresh. The price doesn't match the quality in my opinion, & even the beers we ordered were not cold. So I would find somewhere else to eat & drink a cold one.

The chicken didn't need to be fried & the sauce that came with it barely had any sumac on it to really make a difference. Also we expected the beef carpaccio to be laid flat with some olive oil & maybe a nice vinaigrette to match, but it just came in this unappetizing log stuffed with spinach & a pecorino cheese with more shredded cheese on top? The bread was good tho. The crudo was okay & that is saying something.

My verdict is, if you want a place to have some wine & maybe some oysters with friends this might be it but please avoid the food & beer.

10/10 oysters but the pasta with lamb lacked flavour. I'd go back again for just the oysters & wine though!

Loved the vibe at this wine bar. Their shared plates menu is wonderful & the quantities are just right. For a wine bar/ restaurant, would've expected a sommelier to come & discuss some options as their wine list is pretty awesome. At the end, their suggestion conveyed through the waitresses eas excellent.
Food was great. Can get loud in this place depending where you sit.
Bottomline you'll be really happy to try this little gem!!!

Unfortunately the food was underwhelming. I was hoping for slightly finer dining. The bread was burnt & the tomato in the goat cheese was hard on the outside & very watery & tasteless on the inside. We didn't finish it. The oysters were really good & the wine selexiouis interesting.

Incredible experience. Every dish impresses, but the tasting menu truly shines & the wine pairing takes it to another level. They constantly update their menu so every time I went, I had the chance to taste something new. The place is super cozy with nice decor & the service is phenomenal. I would definitely recommend it; it's one of my favourite restaurant.

I really like the atmosphere of this place, especially in the summer. The vibe is awesome & it's perfect for a date or if you'd like to catch up with someone over some wine. I've tried some of their food to share & it was pretty good, portion size was on the smaller side though. As for the wine, they have a good selection, but for me it was a hit or miss. Overall, it's a nice place & I'll be coming back again for sure.

Really good food & wine! All the dishes were super tasty & dessert was particularly good. Service was friendly although they kept coming to the table a little too often, which is appreciated but felt a little rushed. We unfortunately were seated in the back next to a big party of people & it was impossible to hear each other. Would come back to try again though!

Amazing cozy spot..verdun is lucky to have such a good wine bar. The menu is creative, delicious, & changes seasonally, & the cocktails are great. Thank you Chelsea (bar tender!) for making my experience so memorable. I'll be back!

I'd like to start by saying the service was excellent. They were attentive, & charming. The food was fine, but perhaps my expectations were higher given the price & google reviews I read. I am not a fan of natural wine, so perhaps this bias should be taken into account, but I did not enjoy the tasting menu wine that were paired with the menu. Not a horrible experience, but not worth the price imo.
