Good traveler, my dining at Rima was a most delightful affair, worthy of praise & fond remembrance. The cuisine was crafted with evident care & finesse, each dish arriving as a small work of art-rich in flavor, balanced in spirit, & most satisfying unto the appetite. The service was gracious & attentive, tending to each need with quiet professionalism that doth enhance the entire experience.
The ambiance itself was warm & inviting, a place well suited for both quiet conversation & joyful gathering. Yet, if one small note must be spoken with honesty, it is that the music at times didst not fully match the elegance of the setting, nor the refinement of the meal. Still, this matter doth not overshadow the excellence of the food nor the kindness of the staff.
In sum, a most commendable establishment, well worth visiting, & one I would gladly return unto with high expectation & contented heart. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
we stumbled across this place while passing through. We caught them just as they were opening, so things were a little slower than usual. That being said the food was good, decent portions just a little pricey for what it was but not crazy.
On vient dans le coin une fois par année pour le travail, & c'est la deuxième fois qu'on prend des assiettes à emporter chez Rima. Franchement, c'est vraiment très bon!
On a pris l'assiette mixte les deux fois : viandes excellentes, patates délicieuses, riz bien fait, & la petite salade est fraîche.
Seul petit bémol : les gros morceaux de chou, un peu désagréables.. on les a retirés, mais le reste était excellent.
Les jeunes employés sont polis & travaillants, même si l'accueil pourrait être amélioré. L'an passé, je crois que c'était les propriétaires, & le service était vraiment impeccable.
On va revenir!
PS : On a aussi pris un sachet de dattes & un de pruneaux séchés… bien hâte d'y goûter !
First time at Rima.
I'm usually a customer of Amyr, so I decided to give this place a try.
Right away, the menu was not very clear.
The mixed sandwich was advertised at $9.35 + tax, which is fine.
I took the combo, & the total came to almost $20 with tax just to add fries & a soda - that was surprising.
Another downside: you can't choose what goes inside your sandwich.
Unlike other Lebanese restaurants, the cook decides for you, & you don't see the vegetables or ingredients being added.
Food-wise, it was disappointing:
• the beef was very tough, hard to chew & swallow
• the fries were overcooked, dry, & too spicy
I understand that the place seems popular mainly with Bishop's University students, probably because there aren't many options in Lennoxville.
For me, though, if an Amyr opened nearby, this restaurant would likely struggle.
I won't be coming back.

Première visite au Rima, étant habitué aux restaurants Amyr, j'ai voulu essayer.
Dès le départ, le menu manque de clarté.
Le sandwich mixte est affiché à 9,35 $ + taxes, ce qui est correct.
En prenant le trio, la facture monte à près de 20 $ taxes incluses simplement pour des patates & un soda - assez surprenant.
Autre point négatif : impossible de choisir ce qu'on met dans le sandwich.
Contrairement à d'autres restaurants libanais, le cuisinier décide, sans visibilité sur les légumes ou les ingrédients ajoutés.
Côté nourriture :
• le boeuf était très dur, difficile à mâcher
• les patates trop cuites, sèches & trop épicées
Il semble que la clientèle soit surtout composée d'étudiants de l'université Bishop's, probablement par manque d'alternatives à Lennoxville.
Pour ma part, si un Amyr ouvrait à proximité, ce restaurant aurait probablement du mal à suivre.
Dommage
On paye 22$ environ pour une assiette avec
Taboulé ancienne , du persil jaune jaune carrément . & des gros morceaux de patates solides , non cuites que tu retires de la bouche en mangeant 🤢 !
