Review Summary

Pulcinella is celebrated for handmade pasta and bold flavors, with pistachio pesto rigatoni, pappardelle with wild mushrooms, and a braised beef rib that melts in the mouth. The seafood shines in creamy linguine with clams and shrimp, while octopus and tuna tartare start meals with elegance. Antipasti boards, burrata, and other starters are frequently highlighted for freshness and balance, and pistachio tiramisu provides a memorable finish. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with an open kitchen and attentive service that makes guests feel at home. Located in Little Italy, it is a beloved stop for locals and visitors alike and is often described as a must visit for authentic Italian cooking and homemade pasta.

The pistachio pasta is excellent & so was the seafood. Beef bavette was nice as well. But their cheese cake was not good & I mentioned it to the waiter.

The staff are rapid & professional. Also the owner was present both times to oversee the service. Very nice & polite man.

The custom wine glasses are a beautiful touch but I wish they'd replace the Modello water glasses since the logo is fading.

Pulcinella was the best meal we had during our 5 days in Montreal. It's a great spot just outside the main tourist area, so it feels relaxed & welcoming.

The seasonal menu really stood out. Everything was fresh, made from scratch, & fantastic. We had the Rigatoni Pistache, Pappardelle Champignons along with cocktails wine & dessert. I would have included pictures with my review but we simply devoured everything.

The staff were warm & friendly, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you want great food without the tourist crowds.

Absolute gem in Montreal! This French-Italian restaurant exceeded all expectations. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented & bursting with flavor, showcasing a perfect blend of French finesse & Italian comfort. The wine list was extensive, with plenty of excellent options to complement the meal - whether you're a casual drinker or a true wine lover, there's something here for you.

& the pistachio tiramisu? Absolutely next level. Creamy, rich, & perfectly balanced - hands down one of the best desserts I've ever had.

This place is the full package: incredible food, top-notch service, & a warm, elegant atmosphere. Highly recommended for a special night out or just a memorable meal in the city!

Had a marvelous meal at this delightful little gem near Mache Jean-Talon. Their menu is imaginative & well described by server Eddie. Good wine list. In all, highly recommended.

My wife & I had an awesome third visit to Pulcinella restaurant, & we loved bringing two friends along! The place looks cool & modern, with a fun vibe.

Our server, Daniel, was super friendly & gave us great tips. We started with the mixed Italian antipasto platter-tons of tasty meats, cheeses, & veggies that we all enjoyed. For our main dishes, the mushroom pappardelle was creamy & delicious, & the bucatini was full of flavor. The veal chop was juicy & perfect, & the rabbit was tender & amazing. Every bite was so good!

Daniel picked a wine that went great with our food. For dessert, the pistachio tartufo was sweet & creamy, & the espresso was the perfect finish. Pulcinella is always a hit, & sharing it with friends was even better. Can't wait to come back for round four! Totally recommend it!

Had a wonderful dinner here & will definitely be back! Food was delicious, service was great & I loved the private import wine they suggested. Everything was perfect, portions were generous but we couldn't stop eating because it was so good!

Discovered this utter gem near Jean Talon Market last night. Exquisite entrée of grilled octopus followed by a fresh pasta dish of mushroom tagliatelle that I cannot stop raving about! Dessert was probably the best tiramisu I've ever had & a perfect cappuccino. Wine list is lovely & not too contrived or confusing. & service? Absolutely hands-down spot-on. Highly recommend this little eatery, but make reservations because it was -understandably- packed on a Friday evening.
