Restaurant Phnom Penh is a beloved and cozy destination in Montreal, highly regarded for its authentic Cambodian and Vietnamese cuisine, particularly the flavorful Hu Tieu noodle dishes. Known for exceptional value and consistent quality, this hidden gem offers a comforting, no frills dining experience that feels like a cherished family tradition. Visitors often praise the friendly service, the ability to customize their meals, and the delicious variety of toppings like crispy spring rolls and fried dough fritters. While the location is small, modest, and popular enough to occasionally require waiting in line, the vast majority of patrons find the comforting atmosphere and high quality of the food to be well worth the effort, making it a recurring favorite for locals and families alike.

We visited the restaurant during my Montreal vacation upon friend's suggestion. Decided to try their chicken fried rice, which I barely order. Surprisingly satisfied with what I had, since Im pretty skeptical. Even the noodles are somehow authentic based on my friends feedback. Forgot to take the pictures of my friends' noodles since they were eager to try their food the moment it got handed😅. Very enthusiatic services as well. Much recommended!

Freaking yum! Courteous service in French & English. Clean restaurant with a good temperature. & the food? Crazy good. The fried chicken leg, seasoned rice, & the crunchiest spring rolls. To top it off, I had a strawberry green tea & you could really taste the green tea-& so affordable. I'll be back, I'll tell friends!

The restaurant is on the second floor. Cash only. 13$ for one large bowl of Cambodian noodles (with soup or dry). 3$ for one fried donut.

The portions are small with very few pieces of meat. The shrimp was mushy.

The clientele mostly consist of Cambodian/vietnamese & the place is small so there is a small queue.

We had the beef soup, Phnom Penh dry noodles, fried donuts, & spring rolls & everything was super good! Totally worth the 15-minute wait & really affordable. One of the servers was kinda banging things around, but honestly the food made up for it. Still one of the best spots around!
