Review Summary

Restaurant Miran is widely celebrated for its authentic and flavorful Uyghur cuisine, featuring highlights such as hand pulled laghman noodles, tender lamb, and generous portions of pilov. Many guests appreciate the warm, colorful atmosphere and the restaurant's commitment to halal standards, making it a popular destination for families. While the majority of diners praise the fresh, high-quality ingredients and friendly service, some experiences are occasionally marred by inconsistent meat texture, communication barriers, or lengthy wait times for food service. Despite these occasional critiques, the establishment is frequently described as a hidden gem that offers a unique and satisfying culinary experience, with many patrons eager to return for future meals.

Excellent Uyghur restaurant with a beautiful & authentic atmosphere. The colorful lamps & decorations make the place feel warm & unique.

I tried the lamb shank with rice, fried laghman noodles & samsa. Everything was fresh & delicious. The lamb was very tender, & the rice portion was huge. The fried laghman was somewhere between Turkish & Chinese cuisine, with handmade noodles & great flavor. The samsa was also excellent & very filling.

The staff were friendly & even offered me a small sample of their traditional Uyghur drink. It tasted like a cold ayran smoothie with a little sweetness from honey. Interesting & refreshing, although I personally still prefer regular ayran.

The restaurant is very clean, quiet & comfortable. It would be a great place to come with family as well. Next time I definitely want to try their kebabs.

Highly recommended!

The interior decorations are so colorful. It was quite pretty & it wasn't overbearing either which was nice. The service here was quite shy. We didn't get much of a welcome when we arrived & most of the time, the waiters & waitresses were hiding behind the counters. We had to flail our arms around to get their attention. The food itself was great. The meat was flavorful, the noodles had amazing texture & the drinks were refreshing. I do feel like it was missing a bit of vegetables. The potatoes with the noodles were a bit much but it was still tasty. The portion is made for 2. We had the medium plate which was intimidating because it was 42$ but after looking at the tables around us, we understood that it was meant to be shared.

We ordered stir fry noodles with beef & chicken plate. Noodles were mildly warm (almost room temperature) , beef strips on it were a bit dry & chewy. We complained at the counter they kept on saying its fresh we just did it. Not sure what happened may be it waited to get served, it was a cold day. We ordered Chicken big plate on house recommendation as one of the best sellers. It didn't impress us much, it was a regular chicken curry/soup done in pressure cooker seemed seasoned with all-spice powder & some vegetables poured over flat pasta. It was actually some thing that i didn't expect to pay that much. Its a very basic chicken soup that one can do at home. Overall it was an under whelming experience.

Update: Further on your response, there is a difference between DRY stir fry & some thing that is served not fresh. I think you didnt get the point. Similarly for the chicken plate for us the price didnt justify the value we saw in the product.

Incredible food. We've never had Uyghur food before & were blown away. The portions were very generous ( don't order the Big Chicken Plate unless you have friends or someone to help with that). The hand pulled noodles were fantastic, & the beef dumplings were so incredible & juicy. Highly recommend this restaurant
