L'ambiance est cool mais le repas que nous avons commandé était horrible ! Moi & mon conjoint avons demandé deux soupes & une pizza à partager. Tout ça nous a coûté environ 40$ pour une qualité très mauvaise. Le savoir très artificiel! On avait très faim après avoir fait du patinage & on est sorti très déçu du café qu'auparavant paraissait bon.

I have been here before & the food was ok for the price (although much of the menu was not available); the winter hours are incorrect which is not a great situation considering there are no other cafes in the area.
Its a nice place next to metro. They have some canned drinks. Nachos were delicious. I liked the ambience. Prices were reasonable. It was clean & dynamic.

Je suis allé au Bistro Ste-Helene a 2 occasions, nourriture tres bonne du Bistro, j'ai essayé le Burger de Poisson sur le Menu du Jour. Ambiance Fun sur la Terrasse.
The urban sugar shack (cabane à sucre urbaine) brunch was very disappointing. Bland food, missing key items like ham & bacon, the terrible coleslaw was mostly wilted iceberg, my tea cup was dirty, dirty bathroom. Pickled beets from a can that they told me they recycle in other recipes after if we don't finish them (super unhygienic!). Overpriced ($58 after tax & tip). I left with terrible heartburn even though I didn't even eat that much. Of course if you're willing to drive to the country you'll find much better sugar shacks, but Montreal & its tourists also deserve so much better.

The food is good, but quite overpriced. 44$+tx. for a sugar shack. I don't feel what's worth the cost. Maybe something 30-35$ will be a good & fair price.
32$ pour un cidre & une poutine repas du jour c'est un peu cher. La sauce était tiède mais les frites étaient bien. Le papier ciré se décomposait. Bon endroit pour attendre l'éclipse du siècle.
J'y suis allé ce midi pour prendre un repas à emporter, la personne à qui j'ai eu à faire & qui, je pense, la gérante est très sympathique, elle m'a servi en un rien de temps. Mon repas était très bon & très copieux pour le prix 😃 peu cher ! Je n'ai pas mangé en salle mais d'après ce que j'ai vu est entendu, l'ambiance est conviviale ! Bonne première impression 😌
Un endroit bien en général, n'est pas ouvert à l'heure nous devons attendre & lors de notre entrée nous remarquons que l'endroit est sale les tables sont sale nous devons nettoyer nous-mêmes, les toilettes sont extrêmement dégoutantes rien n'a été lavé lors de la fermeture la journée précédente & personne ne nettoie a l'ouverture également, ils ne sont que deux
Nous y sommes venu 2 fois en 10jours La soupe y est très bonne L'assiette de poulet dévoré par les enfants La poutine est correcte Les prix me semblent plus que correct au vue de l'endroit & du côté solo du restaurant Pour les boissons,les mêmes prix que sur montreal, ils proposent des verres d'eau si besoin Je suis également étonné des avis L'équipe était également très sympathique à chaque fois
Can't believe this wasn't rated higher. Service was fast, food is delicious (poutine of the day & broccoli cheddar soup), & the sitting space is really nice.
Reviews are right on point - restaurant didn't have half of the menu items available. Had a wrap that didn't really taste like anything. Fries were good. Took a very long time to get the food & the place was empty. Wouldn't have come here but it's the only place to eat on the island. Maybe just pack yourself a sandwich instead.
Considérant que nous sommes dans un lieu touristique & que ve bistro est le seul endroit dans le coin où l'on peut prendre un repas, je dirais que mon expérience est fut supérieur à ce que j'ai anticipé (à lire vos avis)! Puis les prix, parlons-en, ici aussi je m'attendais à devoir prendre une hypothèque, mais c'est comparable à d'autres endroit de type festival. J'ai bien aimé l'ambiance de la terrasse.
