Originally from a port city on the Mediterranean has its reputation of seafood meal we have to meet the high expectations that it comes with the name CANAL.

Overall it's good, the shrimp was a little overcooked & bland. The calamari was tasty as were the fries. Fried & steamed fish was good as well, forgot the name of the fish. Service was great, nice servers. Oh octopus had a weird texture but tasted good.
A fantastic, fresh, & flavorful local restaurant! You can handpick your seafood from the counter, & they'll prepare it just the way you like. Generous portions & great taste. Thank you!

The food is absolutely amazing. Fresh & kindhearted staff willing to deal with picky question having customers like myself. I've discovered this restaurant a few weeks ago.ive been 4 times.

This place exceeded our expectations, simply exquisite! We've been going to Rayan all this time & I'm so happy to have found this place. It's sooooo much better. Every dish was delicious, my favorite being the spicy grilled shrimp & grilled octopus. Already looking forward to our next visit.
Updated after visiting this place 5 times in few months still the best & keep the quality high .
Highly recommended, you will never regret, the best fresh delicious seafood in all the region, the owner & the stuff are super friendly & professional, clean, & the atmosphere is great for family & friends I will definitely go again & again ✌?🤩😍

Amazing Dining Experience at Canal Restaurant! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I recently dined at Canal Restaurant in West Island, Montreal, & it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm & inviting, with beautiful décor & a relaxing atmosphere by the water.
The service was top-notch-friendly, attentive, & knowledgeable about the menu. Every dish we ordered was delicious & beautifully presented. The seafood was incredibly fresh, the flavors were perfectly balanced, & the portions were generous. I highly recommend the grilled octopus & the seafood risotto-both were bursting with flavor!
The cocktail menu was equally impressive, with creative & well-crafted drinks that complemented the meal perfectly.
Overall, Canal Restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. If you're looking for a perfect spot for a romantic dinner, a family gathering, or a night out with friends, this is the place to be. I'll definitely be coming back!

You will really enjoy the Mediterranean Seafood taste.
VERY stingy with their sauce & lemons...I got fish & chips. They gave me a quarter of a lemon, not even, a small wedge. & thats all the time, not one occurance. Also, the sauce, you get a tiny small plastic container. Good food, but bad follow-up with execution.
