Small eatery with a great vibe. We had a reservation so seating was quick, otherwise there is a huge line up to this place. The shakshuka with toasted multigrain bread was very filling & the portions are generous. I requested for the dish without eggs. The other dish was tuna, eggs scrambled on a toast. Tonno Italiano
Italian tuna in olive oil complimented with Sicilian flavors, served on a salad drizzled with a marinated onion. My friend complimented the dish a lot about its flavors that it was very unique. The serving was quite generous. Michael helped us with recommendations for coffee. We got hazelnut latte & pistachio latte. The hazelnut was a good recommendation.overall good value for money. Road side parking is a pain but we were lucky to get a free parking as it was a Sunday.
Great food for the price! I had the Bobby goes to Dallas & it was HUGE! Way more food that I expected!
We came on Valentine's Day so we had to wait a little outside but WORTH IT!
We were in this morning at 12:30 for brunch. Who the hell packages my pancakes & eggs & bacon like this. What a waste of food. Took this home to eat later because the serving was huge. All garbage now.
The vibe is like an auto shop. All the servers wear pit crew jumpsuits. Music is 2000s & 90s hip hop. Servers are attentive & helpful with the menu. The food?? Absolutely amazing, huge portions, I couldn't finish it. 10/10. They don't take reservations but the only wait wasn't too long.
Incredible food & such a lovely staff. This is a fantastic brunch spot-come hungry, because the portions are huge in the best way.
Amazing food & huge portions for the price. Neither my partner or I could finish & yes we ate the leftovers because it was that good. Worth the wait.
Just had breakfast at L'Avenue Mont-Royal & wow, totally worth the hype. The portions are huge, the flavors are incredible, & the service is friendly & fast once you're seated. There's usually a wait to get in, but honestly, it's worth every minute. Perfect spot for a big, satisfying brunch.
An outstanding café for a good brunch. The pancakes & French toast were huge & very tasty. The service was very friendly. & we will definitely returning.
Incredible spot. Huge thanks to Elianne for being such a great waitress. Such a filling & delicious meal! Highly recommend.
L'Avenue is the first place we took my niece in Montreal. We wanted her to experience L' Avenue, from the good food & the great staff, the artand generally good vibes. I ordered the californian omelette. It was huge & light & fluffy at the same time. My husband & my niece both got the Tiramisu french toast. They both liked it.It did however reminded me of Eataly's Tiramisu pancakes which I loved. Needless to say, my niece loved her exprience at L' Avenue. for parking are few & far bet
Parking - it was only metered street parking, we came early so we found parking pretty easily but when we were leaving we could see that spaces were few. & far between.
Prices - Although I love this place, I do think it's a bit pricey for what it is.With that said, I consider this a tourist stop for Montreal.
L'Avenue was amazing! The portions were huge & the food was incredibly satisfying. I had the Bobby Does Dallas & the classic Eggs Benedict, both packed with flavour & very filling
The blueberry pancakes were also delicious.
Ceaser was one of the best I've had in Montreal. Would come back for brunch again.
The food is amazingggg everything is super delicious , portions are huge, & the menu has so many fun options. I've been a so many times now & it's always consistently great. Totally worth the wait although it can be long, especially during the weekend.
Breakfast & Brunch heavy weight in Montrael that deserves the hype. Plan ahead & consider coming at off peak hours because there is going to be a crowd at almost any hour. Service really is great, servers are pros. The indecisive menu hits on all cylinders but make sure you are hungry portions are huge. The Benedict's are amazing recommend the Pink Salmon Benny. Drinks menu is eclectic as the food menu. Recommend the Nutella coffee a lot less sweet than I expected which was great for me. If your looking for a solo disco party the bathrooms here got you
We went their for brunch on Easter weekend so they was a huuuuuuge line. Not sure if this is typical but it was worth the wait. It is a small restaurant but the decorations were cute & the food was amazing. I am not sure who took the photos for the website, but they need new ones. The portions were actually very big. The staff was pleasant & they didn't rush us, even with the huge line. I wouldn't definitely go back!
Great brunch if a little on the pricey side. I hade the'indecisive' with sticky toffee pudding pancakes & they were incredible. I'm a huge fan of their indecisive options, because they combine traditional breakfast (eggs, sausage, bread) with a sweet option. Great sweat & savoury brunch! Others ordered the tiramisu French toast & eggs Benedict which were solid.
The ambiance is a little odd & a little intense for brunch but nothing that impacts the meals. The bathrooms are weird with lots of flashing disco lights. I thought they were fun but I can see people finding them stressful.
L'Avenue is the brunch spot if you're looking for a mix of bold flavors, huge portions, & a funky, vibrant atmosphere. The decor is edgy & artsy, & the vibe is always lively-perfect for a weekend indulgence. The menu is stacked with creative takes on classic brunch dishes, & the portions are no joke-you won't leave hungry. The fresh juices & coffee are also top-notch.
HUGE portions which is not for me but I knew going into it. Food was delicious. Service was great. The place was cool.
Such a huge portion! Have to get there early or it's gonna be a long line.
The brunch serves huge, tasty portions, but is always very full. So depending on the time of day, service can be poor.
It's an amazing brunch place in Montreal. The food is delicious & the service was top notch. A huge shout out to Keegan who served us Labour Day long weekend, even though it was pretty busy, Keegan went out of her way to keep our luggage & serve us. She was simply amazing. All the staff were welcoming & had a smile on their faces. Such a beautiful place. Still can't get over the food. A must try & highly recommend this place. Thank you once again Keegan. Waiting to visit again.
