Lovely setting excellent food & gorgeous lake view & sunset. We had the sweetest waitress. Loved the Les Moines en Provence cocktail. I had the octopus & husband had the beef. Both were delicious & plentiful. The Melilot Flower crème brûlée was a perfect light dessert to end the evening.
This is probably the best restaurant in walking distance to the village. The highlight is the high quality ingredients & a beautiful view of the lake.
While everything was very good, the surprise standout was the Caesars salad, which had chunks of hot. & thick bacon pieces. Definitely worth ordering
Amazing experience. One of the best restaurants in the Tremblant area & only seconds from the village. We sat on the patio & the views of the lake were breathtaking around sunset. The service was impecable & the ambiance matched. Oh, & the food? One of the best-tasting meals I've had in years with a wine list that goes on for miles to pair everything nicely. The confit white onion with fermented wheat risotto was an absolute flavour explosion!
We had brunch with beautiful views of the lake & absolutely loved it. The service was lovely & the food felt very homemade. We tried the breakfast bagel & the classic breakfast with eggs & sausage-everything was delicious, & the potatoes & sausage weren't greasy at all. Highly recommend!
La Quintessence, the flagship restaurant of the namesake Quintessence Hotel in Mont-Tremblant, offers a dining experience as luxurious as the hotel it resides in. Stepping into the restaurant feels like entering an elegant alpine retreat, where rustic charm meets sophisticated design. The ambiance is warm & inviting, with the comforting crackle of a fire in the stone hearth & the soft glow of wooden beams overhead. Leather armchairs beckon diners to settle in, while the panoramic view of Lac Tremblant serves as a serene backdrop, grounding the space in the breathtaking natural beauty of the region. Service at La Quintessence is executed with style & grace, a reflection of the restaurant's elevated standards. The staff are attentive without being intrusive, adding to the refined atmosphere without losing the welcoming, cozy chalet feel. The menu leans into the local terroir, showcasing both finesse & creativity. To start, we indulged in oysters & microgreen salads, both exquisitely fresh & fully organic-a light prelude to the more robust courses to follow. The highlight of the evening was the venison, a beautifully executed dish that married the natural earthiness of the game with a playful assortment of sides. Wild mushrooms & marinated onions added layers of texture & depth, each bite offering something new to discover. The attention to detail & flavor was impeccable, a testament to the chef's skill in balancing elegance & heartiness. As with any dining experience of this caliber, the price does reflect the overall luxury of the establishment. However, for those seeking a peaceful & intimate evening in Mont-Tremblant, with food as elevated as the setting, La Quintessence offers an exceptional choice. The combination of high-quality service, stunning surroundings, & well-executed dishes makes this a destination worth savoring.
We went twice to eat dinner, & once for breakfast. The breakfast was delicious, mostly the croissant, but failed the hot chocolate. I still definitely recommend to enjoy it during your stay at the hotel. The dinner though was disappointing these two occasions. The dishes are original in terms of protein & combinations, but lack of flavour & richness. I don't recommend dining there for the price of it. The bar has a handful options of mocktails. Made in front of us, they were quite tasty. The view is nice over the lake, & well setup in a low light ambiance. The service was nice (mostly at the bar), even though they forgot us at the bar for half an hour after preparing our table.
This review is specifically for the garden level executive suite. This was the second time we stayed at the Quintessence. The first time was magical! We had a classic suite & the experience couldn't have been more positive. It was such a positive experience that we decided to make this an annual trip. Fast forward to December 2023, we decided to upgrade our room since this trip was also for our honeymoon. When we arrived, we were very disappointed. We found that the executive garden level suite is not an upgrade from the classic suite, but instead a downgrade. It is in the back corner of the hotel overlooking the parking lot with an obstructed lake view. We requested to have our room moved several times, even switching back to a classic suite even though we paid for the "upgrade". We also offered to move after our first night since there were classic suites available starting on day 2 of our trip, which they did not allow. This was such an unfortunate experience that could have been avoided if the room was not advertised as an "upgrade", or if we were allowed to switch rooms. I strongly suggest adding a disclaimer to this room type &/or proactively alerting guests who have stayed at the hotel previously that this room type is not an upgrade. On a positive note, the doormen & restaurant staff were exceptional! The spa services were also top notch. If not for the challenges with the room type, we wouldn't have any hesitation booking another year at the Quintessence.
THIS IS OUR FIRST STAY IN THIS HOTEL. IN A WORD, IT'S REALLY AMAZING PLACE JUST FEEL LIKE HOME. VERY CLEAN & COMFORTABLE PLACE TO STAY. SOURINDING VIEWS FROM THE ROOM & BALCONY ARE REALLY INCREDIBLE. THANKS TO ALL STAFF IN THIS HOTEL WHO REALLY WORK HARD TO MAKE OUR STAY MORE COMFORTABLE.
Stayed in the Clagett's Cabin just outside the hotel for our anniversary this weekend. Highly recommend! Front desk & door service were very kind & helpful throughout our stay, not to mention the breakfast was excellent. Cabin is right beside the hotel but nice & secluded for a little privacy. Rustic, but offers all the modern amenities. Great view of the water!
Just incredible, the service & level of professionalism. Highly recommend. Right in the heart of the village with stunning views & great accommodations.
Beautiful hotel with beautiful rooms in a beautiful village. The staff is really nice & helpfull, & the restaurant is really nice with good food. Also the welness is fitted with a jacuzzi, a sauna, a swimming pool & a gym. & the view from the hotel is amazing looking out over a lake with an island & a beautiful treeline this really is an amazing hotel.
Fantastic lake view & welcoming staff made it an ideal romantic getaway.
The fireplace was great.
The hotel rooms view of the lake is just spectacular. The service is amazing, so is the room service. They literally treat you like a valued client, which I appreciated a lot. The pool & jacuzzi are insane, not to mention the wonderful view you have
