Essayez les tacos de poisson!!! Ils sont très savoureuses & légèrement épicées. Un vrai régal! Cocktails sont exquis, même ceux sans alcool. Ambiance est très chaleureuse & mexicaine. Musique latina volume parfait. Personal aimable qui parle espagnol & qui nous fait rire. La nourriture est aussi très rapide. Un endroit parfait pour un groupe! This place has a gorgeous terrace & was able to seat us immediately for dinner on a Friday. I had the mango mezcal margarita which was absolutely delicious! The vegetarian al pastor was super flavorful, & I was so happy to see a vegetarian take on this dish with marinated mushrooms instead of pork. We also got the tres leches which was probably my least favorite. It was a bit dense, & not as sweet as I expected compared to other versions of this dessert. After the quick service we got for our drinks & tacos, I regretted ordering it since it took around 30 minutes to come out. Overall definitely recommend this place for authentic, flavorful mexican food or a delicious cocktail.View more
We are so happy (& lucky) to have La Gaviota right down the street from our house. Their delicious, authentic Mexican food is the best in Montreal, & their cocktails are great too! We have tried their beef tacos, enchiladas suiza, chicken quesadilla, & guacamole - all were excellent!View more

THE Best tacos in the neighborhood, & def one of the best I've tried in Montreal so far. Michelada was 👌🏻 We tried the Gobernador ( shrimps) tacos 🌮💚 & the Fish 🐟 tacos. Both were delicious but damn those shrimps were 🤤 Service is sweet & quick, & they have happy hour on drinks everyday, best way to try out the terrasse. Will go there often this summer.View more

Excellent sur toute la ligne! Les mets mexicains sont savoureux, le service est gentil, attentionné, avec un joli souci du détail.
