Looooved the dumplings here. We had the pork dumplings as well as the shrimp ones & both were delicious.
Will return & recommend.View more
As of 2025, you pay $25 which is about 30-40% lower than comparable alternatives. It follows accordingly that the food quality is mediocre - the deep fried options are overcooked to death, some of the meat dishes are extremely tough & chewy, & there are very few cold/dessert options or drinks available. On the other hand, some of the steamed & stir-fried dishes were surprisingly good.
The main targets in the'buffet meta' are the deep-fried shrimp & the ribs, but the price is cheap enough that you can enjoy a decent variety of food without feeling the need to minmax.View more
Was excited to see that they were renovating. With their massive price increases in the past few years I was expecting better food & an expanded selection. However it looks like they've actually shrunk the buffet & the quality is the same. Gone is the shrimp. Gone is all the Dim Sum items & congee.View more
Went in on a Saturday afternoon, & the tables were full. Despite what others said, the food during this time were frequently emptied out & replaced (probably because the place was busy). The fried section was our favorite. Chicken with spices & pork ribs were good, & the shrimp was very juicy. Yang chow fried rice was also good. Vegetables - I loved the green beans (had two servings) & the eggplant. Siu mai was a bit too salty. They had juice (colored water with sugar like others said), but it's part of the package so I'm not complaining. For dessert - they had a really good pear pastry, & fruit salad among others. From what I experienced, it was pretty good for $25. Our family was happy.View more
$25/adult-including tax & tips- for all inclusive buffet of Chinese food. Good: hungry but do not care of quality. Had lots of fair sized shrimps, broccoli & some veggies dishes were great! Coffee & tea included, many choices of meats. Negatives: quality is fair, too many fried options, juices were just sugar & coloured waters (not real juice at all!), only a couple of desserts options. Sushi's were poorly made & mostly made of rice. Definitely a forgettable eating experience! (My wife says we should NOT forget!)View more
It's the second time we go there. First time we were disappointed because all the food was dry, like if they stayed on the re-heat plates too long. There's was no dessert option having like only 1 choice. We've decided to give it another chance, but it was worst the second time around: no choice at all in the buffet except some very very dry fries & pizza slices. For 25$ per person it was a rip off. The liquor tasted like dishwasher water. The freshness of the shrimp was very questionnable & the vanilla cake tasted like rubber. Sadly we won't be returning. Hopefully they can turn the situation around cauz it's a good spot.View more
The only reason I put 2 stars is the food, the woman who took our order was aggressive & made us feel that we shouldn't eat here! She took our order sometimes we point at items in display she doesn't even look or say give me a second then we paid we're still waiting for the receipt & the items started coming out, they just scream the name or number of the item so when we claimed she screamed that we just ordered but the items were ours then she aggressively handed them down while complaining ! The shrimp rice rolls look nothing like the picture & taste nothing like those I tasted before (I'm a dim sum nerd) the roll was too tall & chunky & there were only 2 small pieces of shrimp at each extremity. The dough/rice roll tasted weird so we had to dug out only the shrimp pieces!View more
The food wasn't that bad but there's a lot that needs to happen before I go back or recommend it to anyone. They display a really good price but you'll find out later why. For two people it's $50 all together, you pay before you eat so you don't see whats inside (including a tip charge before service). We go in & are seated, there's a funky smell in the air but I ignored it thinking it was someone. I get a plate & go around but very few have labels, you sort of guess what you're eating. My boyfriend grabbed noodles & after taking a few bites noticed there were 2 pieces of shrimp (he's allergic, plus he thoroughly checks before choosing). After looking around you'll notice mold everywhere & the staff have a carefree attitude. There were 3 servers & they all were on their phone at some point looking at instagram or something. Not once did they come to our table to see how we were or offer anything. & if you order pop you have to pay extra on the spot. If you want a good buffet I 100% recommend the buffet in the casino, they're food is amazing & the service is top tier.View more
I personally liked it, & for 25 dollars a person its not a bad deal. That to say it may not cater to everyone's taste. For classic chinese food you order online they have plenty, but they also have more western foods like fries, pizza, hotdogs & potatos. Free orange drink (like a sunny d) & oolong tea. Lots of shrimp & sushi. Meats were very tender & good tasting. Overall a good spot if there is nothing else available. Vegetarian section with tofu, but for people with nut allergies I find its hard to see the ingredients.View more
BEST SHRIMP EVER! I dream about them, & will use any excuse to go get shrimp!View more
