Dec 31st. Their online booking portal confirmed availability so we planned our night accordingly. 2 hrs before arriving I called to confirm & they said they're fully booked for the night. Very disappointed even before visiting this place.
The restaurant is quite popular, so we made a reservation well in advance. The food was beautifully presented, but the flavors didn't quite match the hype. The foie gras, a highly recommended dish, was overly greasy, though the flavor was decent. The bagel was a bit tough to chew. One practical issue we noticed was that the plates slid around on the marble table while we were eating; some tablecloths could have easily addressed this. Unfortunately, there were a few service-related mishaps. A server accidentally spilled water on my mom's phone-these things happen, & we didn't make a fuss-but the most disappointing aspect was the long wait. We sat for nearly an hour before our orders were served. What was odd, however, was that all of our dishes appeared right after we inquired about them. This left us wondering if the food had been sitting out, as some dishes were lukewarm by the time they reached our table. As for the atmosphere, while the space is beautifully decorated, the busyness detracts from the overall experience. The tables are packed so tightly that it feels overcrowded, which not only diminishes the ambiance but likely overwhelms the staff as well. Perhaps this explains the delays in service. Given the high price point of the menu, I'd imagine the restaurant could afford to reduce the number of tables & create a more refined & enjoyable dining experience. Overall, while the restaurant excels in appearances, it seems to fall short on delivering substance. We had high expectations for this meal, but the experience was ultimately underwhelming.
Didn't realize it was Indian French fusion (google & open table says French only). Was pleasantly surprised by how good the food & drinks were! Cocktails were particularly good. Food also quite fantastic, including foie gras & duck magret (cooked very, very well). Only negative was service. Perhaps it was just the waiter we had (another waitress was much better), but that one waiter left a sour taste on an otherwise great experience.
Très belle expérience ! On a été dîné avec nos enfants & très bien accueilli par le personnel qui est kid friendly :) La décoration est très belle & soignée ! Les installations sont confortables & agréable ! La nourriture est plutôt bonne la fusion marche bien entre la France/l'Inde j'aurais peut être voulu plus de plat revisité à la carte, j'imagine que la carte va être enrichi à l'avenir. Mon coup de coeur par contre est pour la crème brûlée qui est excellente ! Avec un petit goût subtil d'épices très bien dosée ! J'aurais pu en manger encore une autre facilement !! Les prix sont cohérent !
Une expérience incroyable ! Nous avons été reçues un vendredi soir comme des reines ! :) Le service de Frédérique était impeccable, elle était à l'écoute de nos demandes & très attentionnée. D'ailleurs, toute l'équipe a fait de notre soirée une expérience sublime. Cocktails frais & recherchés, carte des vins tout aussi intéressante. Nous avons eu la chance de déguster plusieurs items sur la carte (difficile de choisir d'ailleurs puisque tout ce qui se trouve sur la carte nous semblait être délicieux) & chacun d'eux étaient magnifiquement apprêté & savoureux. On retrouve des classiques de la cuisine française rehaussés des saveurs indiennes & l'équilibre est parfait. L'ambiance est chaleureuse, la musique & le DJ sur place étaient très agréables. Je recommande à tous.tes ce petit bijou au Vieux-Port de Montréal, vous ne serai absolument pas déçus !
Service impeccable ! La serveuse était très aimable & connaissait le menu Nourriture aussi était délicieuse On y retourne c'est certain ! Merci encore pour mon bol de fraises ☺️ce petit service personnalisé était la cerise sur le gâteau
