A very thoughtfully laid out restaurant, with great ambiance, decor, service, & exceptional food (had the orzotto, shahi kofta, & burrato appie). Well recommended!
Had an amazing time! We were lucky enough to have such an amazing server named Josh. Josh took time to carefully explain the menu, provided wonderful recommendations, was honest & super helpful. Everything we had was delicious, especially the foie gras. Wish all servers could be so genuine & welcoming with great knowledge of their menus. Highly recommend this restaurant; ask for Josh to be your server. :)
Restaurant indien au beau décor, avec une agréable terrasse. Le service est excellent & nous avons adoré tous nos plats. Je recommande particulièrement l'orzotto aux fruits de mer ainsi que le poulet biryani du Punjab. Nous avons passé une excellente soirée & nous retournerons assurément dans ce restaurant.

Ma soirée a été d'autant plus agréable grâce à l'excellent service (merci entre autres à Simon) & à l'ambiance qu'offrait les instrumentistes de la soirée jazz. Fortement recommandé
J'y suis allé, comme à l'habitude, cette année, & je dois avouer que je suis très déçue.
La cuisine est excellente & les boissons le sont également. Cependant, un point est venu complètement gâcher mon expérience : le service, qui était pratiquement inexistant ce soir-là.
Mon serveur, Warren, m'a informé qu'il terminait son quart de travail & m'a présenté à une autre serveuse. Malheureusement, celle-ci n'est jamais venue me voir, alors que la seule chose qu'il me restait à faire était de demander ma facture afin de quitter le restaurant. J'ai finalement dû m'adresser à une autre serveuse pour l'obtenir, après avoir attendu environ 30 à 40 minutes. Pendant ce temps, elle semblait plutôt occupée à discuter & à flirter avec le DJ qu'à s'occuper de ses tables.
Ce que je reproche surtout, c'est d'avoir entendu plus tôt dans la soirée cette même serveuse, qui avait un tatouage de serpent sur l'avant-bras, traiter certains clients de « mouettes » en parlant d'influenceuses. Les employés étaient en petit groupe dans le restaurant & parlaient négativement d'autres clients. Ce genre de comportement est, selon moi, très peu professionnel & donne une mauvaise image de l'établissement.
Je repars avec un goût très amer de cette expérience & une grande déception. C'est dommage, puisque la qualité de la nourriture & des boissons est toujours au rendez-vous.

Excellent service reçu par Fréderic. J'y étais pour travailler sur mon ordinateur sur leur terasse qui est magnifique.
Je vous recommande les huitres, les petoncles & les cotelelettes d'agneau.

From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was elegant, warm, & inviting. The foie gras was absolutely outstanding simply unforgettable.
What impressed me the most, however, was the exceptional level of customer service. The team handled a small issue with genuine professionalism, kindness, & care, turning it into an even better experience. Their attention to their guests & commitment to making things right speaks volumes about their standards.
Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience. Great food, a fantastic ambiance, & truly outstanding hospitality. I will definitely be coming back & highly recommend this restaurant.
Cute spot! On Thursdays they have a dj & $1 oysters with champagne, which I highly recommended! The ambiance is really nice & enjoyable. The oysters were amazing. We also got the sharing board which came with 5 appetizers (shrimp, paneer, chicken, lamb chop, lamb balls) & a side of naan. If you want to try a few things this board is perfect for 2 people to share & honestly with that & the oysters I was full!
The shrimp were so good! Honestly I don't think I've ever had such tender shrimp. I love the green mint sauce served under the platter. I also tried paneer naan for the first time & it was very good, but I think I prefer the garlic naan. I did not try any cocktails, but they had some very interesting looking options, also $10 classic cocktails & select wines for the 5 a 7.
Service was good, the only thing is we were first sat with no menus for about 5 minutes, which I would prefer to be sat right away with the menus, but otherwise they were attentive to fill water glasses (it wasn't very busy). I couldn't tell if who sat us was going to be our waiter or just the host, there seemed to be a lot of staff seemingly doing everything, so it was a bit confusing who to order from at first.
Ambiance was great, really nice to have a dj but it wasn't too loud, so it was still possible to have a conversation inside without screaming (rare in Montreal).
I would definitely come back.
Nous sommes allés à L'Héritaj le 31 décembre & ce fut une très belle soirée.
La nourriture était impeccable : la burrata était excellente, le tartare de boeuf délicieux & le filet mignon tout simplement parfait.
Un gros merci à Josh, notre serveur, un jeune homme très sympathique & attentionné, qui a vraiment contribué à rendre l'expérience agréable.
Je recommande sans hésiter, & si vous y allez, demandez Josh !
Le cadre du restaurant est tout simplement magnifique & très bien agencé. La terrasse extérieure, avec son jet d'eau, apporte une ambiance apaisante & élégante. C'est l'endroit parfait pour organiser un événement, que ce soit un anniversaire ou une réception corporative.
Nous y avons organisé un événement M3 & avons été ravis de l'expérience. Bien que je n'aie pas eu l'occasion d'essayer le menu régulier puisque l'équipe avait préparé un menu spécial pour notre groupe, je compte bien revenir pour le découvrir.
Une de mes plus belles découvertes à Montréal depuis longtemps! Heritaj propose une cuisine française magnifiquement exécutée, avec une touche d'influence indienne qui apporte une richesse & une originalité incroyables aux saveurs. Nous avons goûté plusieurs entrées à partager - chacune était un coup de coeur. Tout était savoureux, bien présenté, & parfaitement équilibré. Un vrai voyage gustatif! L'ambiance est aussi soignée que l'assiette. Heritaj est définitivement un endroit à refaire sans hésitation. Je vous recommande fortement!
