We stopped by this little seafood restaurant for dinner after a run around Saint Joseph's Oratory. The simple, unpretentious decor instantly reminded us of those hidden, family-run Mediterranean restaurants tucked away in European side streets. We can't help but to feel as if we had been transported to a vacation destination.
The owner was warm & welcoming, inviting us to take a look at the seafood counter. It featured a wide selection, from fish to prawns, mussels, & fresh lobsters. Although there were only two of us, we decided to create our own seafood platter: a lobster, some prawns, calamari, & fries to share. The service was quick, with our fries arriving first. The rest of the seafood followed shortly. Everything was cooked just right, & we were especially relieved that the lobster was tender & not overdone. The portion was perfect as any more & we probably would have struggled to walk out of the restaurant!
To cap off the meal & an amazing evening, the owner kindly offered us some complimentary tea. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience & would gladly return.
It's like eating on a Mediterranean beach during a vacation. Fresh fish, well cooked, kind service, good variety, excellent customization. I always try to go there with all my energies.

Wandered in to Zeina based on reviews & didn't know what to expect. Even the reviews can't say enough about how great dinner was for our group! Yassir welcomed us & helped us choose a selection of super fresh seafood. Incredible how fun he made the selection & super helpful with recommendations. That alone would have made our evening. However once the food began arriving at the table, the preparation & quality was fantastic. Honestly we had snapper & bass, calamari, shrimp, lobster, & sardines. Some of it fried some grilled. All excellent. & the vegetables & preparation & presentation. All excellent. If you're looking for the best seafood or a great dining experience, Zeina is your best choice. PS wait staff all great too!
Looking through the photos from our trip to Montréal, I was reminded that I hadn't left a review for this wonderful little seafood restaurant. We had a very enjoyable lunch here on September 25th. We had a mixed seafood platter with grilled shrimp, fish & vegetables, as well as a separate portion of grilled octopus. The seafood was flavourful in a way that only fresh seafood can be. It was seasoned in such a way as to bring out the fresh flavour without dominating it. It was a pleasure to meet the owner who took good care of us. We will definitely come again if we are ever in Montréal again.

5 star service & fresh seafood! Marouane our server was the sweetest making sure that the fish, calamari & shrimp was cooked exactly like we wanted. The Egyptian tea at the end is a must ! Will surely come back again
Exceptionally warm, friendly & intent on making you enjoy your meal. Will gladly adapt to your needs. Seafood is fresh & so tasty yet reasonable. A rarity the seafood category which had become so expensive.

Probably the best sea food in Montreal! Yasser made everything so fresh & he made is a feast.
Best fish I have had in Canada. You can choose your (very fresh) fish from the counter & they will expertly grill it on the spot, in my case, beautifully marinaded in garlic & herbs. The vegetables were also beautifully marinaded & very tasty. Extremely friendly, welcoming & relaxed, plus a very good price & great portion. C'est le meilleur poisson que j'ai mangé dans Canada. Beaucoup de l'ail & de goût, c'était fantastiquement qualité de poisson (& de variété). Les gens sont très gentile & génial, & c'est un bon prix!
I ordered grilled sea bass. It was so delicious! Their seasoning was amazing & fish was so fresh~ I highly recommend seafood lovers to check out this place. The owner is so friendly & hospitality too. Knowing I'm traveling here & first time trying the restaurant, he gave me a free tea. Such a great experience dining here :)
