I recently ordered a meal from Cantine Emilia & got the'Pacheco' bowl. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. I found an insect inside the food.
This is not something anyone expects when ordering a meal, & it raises serious concerns about food safety & quality control. I hope the restaurant takes this issue seriously & improves their standards.
I'm sharing this to raise awareness & hopefully prevent this from happening to someone else.

Excellent spot with consistently great food & a welcoming vibe. Emilia in Villeray offers a really enjoyable dining experience, with flavorful Portuguese dishes that feel fresh & well prepared. The menu has a nice variety, & everything is cooked with care, from the mains to the sides. Portions are satisfying, & the quality is evident in every bite. The atmosphere is relaxed & friendly, making it a great place for both casual meals & small gatherings. The staff are attentive & make you feel welcome without being overbearing, which adds to the overall experience. It's the kind of place you can come back to regularly & still enjoy every time.
Très déçue de mon sandwich :(
Le poulet (les 3 morceaux) aucun goût. & le fromage squish très très décevant. Juste goût salé, même pas une texture sympa. On s'attend à un sandwich goûteux, avec le poulet & mayo, mais ils ont réussi à enlever les saveurs...pour 20 dollars c'est dommage...
Je conseille les frites étaient bonnes. Je dois dire que j'ai pas été très satisfait du service car on avait un peu l'impression de déranger la personne au comptoir ce qui n'est pas agréable. C'est vraiment loin d'être grave mais je pense que ça devrait être un peu amélioré. Mais c'est un très bon commerce nonetheless
Est-ce qu'il y a eu un changement de propriétaire?Je constate une nette diminution des quantités & des saveurs.
Le poulet n'a plus ce goût de charbon, est sec & n'est plus aussi goûteux. Le riz était vraiment fade, pourtant auparavant, il était excellent.
Nous étions de fidèles clients, abonnés au combo familial lors des jours de flemme. Nos deux dernières expériences ont été décevantes. Je ne pense pas commander à nouveau dans ce restaurant. Dommage!

We were in the mood for some poke bowl chicken but the Le Medeiros bowl had max 1/4 in pieces. The rice & salad with the spicy sauce we chose with the bowl was excellent. I will try their entire chicken from their menu next time , hopefully that will be much better.
En étant moi-même portugais, je trouve que c'est un des plus coûteux & les portions de moins en moins petites & en plus on ne peut pas payer en argent comptant. On achète ailleurs maintenant le prix & la quantité ça nous convient & on peut payer comptant.
Le service client est tout simplement incroyable! J'ai été accueilli par une jeune demoiselle prénommée alana & je prend le temps d'écrire cette avis grâce à elle. Elle était extrêmement souriante & patiente & cela faisait longtemps que je n'avais pas eu un service comme ça. Certes, la nourriture était excellente & les portions très généreuses pour le prix. Mais ce qui m'a marqué c'était vraiment le service. Continuez

C'est toujours excellent. Service rapide. Parfois les frites ne sont pas suffisamment cuites selon moi. Un peu dispendieux pour de la restauration rapide. Je recommande ce resto
Nous étions des clients réguliers & fidèles de cet établissement, commandant fréquemment le plat phare : Le Medeiros (bol de riz & poulet), généralement dans sa version'1 pour 2'.
Malheureusement, notre dernière expérience a été une déception notable. Comme d'autres avis l'ont déjà souligné, nous avons constaté une nette diminution de la taille des portions. Auparavant généreuses, les portions actuelles ne sont plus suffisantes & laissent un sentiment de faim après avoir terminé le plat. C'est d'autant plus regrettable que cela s'accompagne d'une hausse des prix.
Il y a seulement deux ou trois mois, les portions étaient parfaites. La qualité de la nourriture reste, quant à elle, très bonne.
C'est avec regret que nous allons devoir cesser de commander. Nous privilégierons dorénavant d'autres restaurants qui proposent des portions plus justes en regard du prix. Vraiment dommage, car nous apprécions la cuisine.
J'ai été servie par Alana , j'ai adoré service pour une première fois je retournais sans faute elle a été à l'écoute & a répondu à mes attentes! Merci Alana
Wow ! Mon copain a pris un demi poulet & moi, un bol chorizo/poulet avec les sauces à côté. Nous avons trouvé le tout excellent & très savoureux. On a été bien accueilli également, service au top. On reviendra assurément.
