Nous avons récemment dîné chez Balam & avons malheureusement été très déçus par notre expérience. Malgré le fait qu'il n'y avait que trois tables occupées dans tout le restaurant, le service s'est avéré extrêmement lent. Personne n'est venu nous proposer de l'eau ni vérifier si nous avions besoin de quoi que ce soit au cours du repas. Les plats étaient corrects, mais sans réelle originalité ni saveur marquante. Le rapport qualité-prix laisse à désirer : les prix sont largement trop élevés pour ce qui est offert.View more
Super beau & bon restaurant ! J'ai adoré mon expérience. Nous avions une réservation pour 10 personnes ce soir, & je n'ai pas été déçu. Que ce soit les tacos aux crevettes & au poulpe, ou le trio de ceviches, tout était excellent. & que dire de la décoration du restaurant…juste WOW!Ce ne sera certainement pas ma dernière fois !☺?View more

Always check you bill!!!! The restaurant it's nice . Very new. We had great time till we saw the bill. The price they charge & the menu price was different. That was a bit surprising. Even the manager said they forgot to change the menu. But I mean this is brand new restaurant how can they change the price so frequently….I will make sure always check the price .View more

I had an amazing experience at this new mexican restaurant. The atmosphere is warm & inviting, the service is friendly & attentive, & the food is absolutely outstanding. The highlight of my meal was the duck tacos-perfectly cooked, tender, & packed with rich, savory flavors. They're unlike anything I've had before-

We had lunch on the Febr. 14th 2025,
in an almost empty restaurant.
Even with that it seemed understaffed & the 2 waiters working there were dressed in regular street clothing so not professional.
We ordered Tacos de Pescado, Pato Carnitas
(Duck leg confit) & I had the Secreto de porc Iberico (Pork flank steak pastor style).
I was very happy to see the Iberico porc on the menu, but I got served an overcooked, chewy piece of meat. It was inedible because of the strong coriander taste, smell.
The prices are not bad for a'fancy' restaurant that felt like a cantina & there is only one common washroom.
The restaurant is difficult to find, you have to go out from the shopping mall, it is in the garden. None of the many security guards from the mall could help us with info about the whereabouts of the Balam… 🥴
Maybe in the evening it is better so we will be back with updates soon.

Food was great, but severely understaffed. Slow to come out, inattentive service & we had chaos on our terrible for 30 minutes at a time. They're busy washing empty tables but the ones with customers are not being handled. Multiple customers had to chase down the waiters to finally get their bill… it killed the whole experience for us…View more
Food was average, service was completely unpleasant. Waiter was very pushy for a tip but wasn't attentive throughout the night. Wouldn't recommend.View more
