it's not possible to give zero star otherwise I had given that; we ordered food after looking at reviews on google but this restaurant is really shit(I am sorry to say that but yes) the food have no even average tasty its just boiled & served , missing items in my order & also quantity was like that was for kids. I seriously don't recommend this restaurant don't go there after looking tiktok videos or google reviews 👎
Amazing khulchas , highly recommended. They have it in singles & doubles.
Best food i ever had in Quebec. Best customer service, taste & quality. A must try place in Montreal. Highly recommended
We visited Amritsari Kulcha & Sweets a few days ago with our family, & we were extremely impressed with both the quality & taste of the food. Having recently come from India, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the flavors were incredibly authentic, it genuinely felt like we were dining back home.
We tried the Nutri Kulcha, Amritsari Kulcha, Jalebi, Momos, & Mango Lassi, & every item was outstanding. We also purchased several boxes of their Motichoor Laddus to take away, & they were absolutely delicious.
Everything we ordered was a perfect 5/5. The taste, freshness, & authenticity truly stood out. If you're looking for authentic Indian food in Montreal, Canada, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended & easily one of the best Indian food experiences we've had in Canada so far!
Great food, will recommend to try if you're looking to have north indian food.
We came to Montreal from the U.S. for a weekend getaway, & one thing was non-negotiable on our agenda-finding really good Indian food. After seeing this place highly recommended on social media, we decided to give it a try, & I'm so glad we did.
It's a small, unassuming spot, but what it lacks in size, it more than makes up for with heart. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed like family. It's a family-run restaurant, & every single person made an effort to stop by our table & make sure everything was perfect. That kind of hospitality is rare & so appreciated.
We were greeted with a welcome drink, & honestly, I could have happily drunk an entire glass of the gol gappa water they served. It was that good.
The star of the meal was undoubtedly the Amritsari kulcha. One bite & I was transported straight back to the streets of Amritsar. Easily some of the best kulchas I've had outside of India. They were perfectly seasoned, not overloaded with spices, & had just the right amount of crunch. The channa that came alongside was excellent, & the imli & onion chutney was such a nostalgic touch. It's something I've only ever seen served properly in Amritsar, never here in North America.
We also ordered the chole bhature, & I was pleasantly surprised to find that the chole was prepared differently from the one served with the kulchas. Most places use the exact same preparation for both dishes, but not here. The bhature were light, fluffy, & not greasy at all.
The veg momos were another standout-thin wrappers, generous filling, & cooked perfectly. Simple, fresh, & delicious.
The paneer tikka was equally impressive. Soft, tender paneer marinated the traditional way & seasoned beautifully. One thing we noticed throughout the meal was that nothing was overly spicy or loaded with unnecessary seasoning. The flavours felt balanced & authentic, allowing each dish to shine on its own.
The food here doesn't just fill your stomach-it takes you back home. We loved it so much that before heading back to the U.S., we came back the very next day for lunch.
This place satisfied both our heart & our soul. If you're in Montreal & craving authentic Amritsari food made with care, this is an absolute must-visit.
Highly recommended place to have Indian food in Montreal! Me & my friends were really happy by their way of serving & hospitality which is a plus point. One should try their amritsari kulcha (in the price of one you will get two)& gol gappe water. Thanks!
Visited this restaurant today with 4 friends & had an amazing experience! We tried the Amritsari Kulcha, Channa Bhatura, & Paneer Kulcha - everything was fresh, authentic, & absolutely delicious. The owner is a very kind & humble person. Even though we arrived close to closing time, he still welcomed us warmly & served us with great hospitality. He even gave us some complimentary treats, which made the experience even more special. Great food, generous service, & a very welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for Punjabi food lovers!
