The kulchas were fresh, perfectly crispy on the outside, & generously stuffed with flavorful fillings. The chole, chutneys, & accompaniments complemented the meal beautifully. The service was friendly & efficient, & the overall atmosphere felt warm & welcoming. If you're craving authentic Punjabi flavors, this place is definitely worth a visit. Will be coming back again!
We came to Montreal from the U.S. for a weekend getaway, & one thing was non-negotiable on our agenda-finding really good Indian food. After seeing this place highly recommended on social media, we decided to give it a try, & I'm so glad we did.
It's a small, unassuming spot, but what it lacks in size, it more than makes up for with heart. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed like family. It's a family-run restaurant, & every single person made an effort to stop by our table & make sure everything was perfect. That kind of hospitality is rare & so appreciated.
We were greeted with a welcome drink, & honestly, I could have happily drunk an entire glass of the gol gappa water they served. It was that good.
The star of the meal was undoubtedly the Amritsari kulcha. One bite & I was transported straight back to the streets of Amritsar. Easily some of the best kulchas I've had outside of India. They were perfectly seasoned, not overloaded with spices, & had just the right amount of crunch. The channa that came alongside was excellent, & the imli & onion chutney was such a nostalgic touch. It's something I've only ever seen served properly in Amritsar, never here in North America.
We also ordered the chole bhature, & I was pleasantly surprised to find that the chole was prepared differently from the one served with the kulchas. Most places use the exact same preparation for both dishes, but not here. The bhature were light, fluffy, & not greasy at all.
The veg momos were another standout-thin wrappers, generous filling, & cooked perfectly. Simple, fresh, & delicious.
The paneer tikka was equally impressive. Soft, tender paneer marinated the traditional way & seasoned beautifully. One thing we noticed throughout the meal was that nothing was overly spicy or loaded with unnecessary seasoning. The flavours felt balanced & authentic, allowing each dish to shine on its own.
The food here doesn't just fill your stomach-it takes you back home. We loved it so much that before heading back to the U.S., we came back the very next day for lunch.
This place satisfied both our heart & our soul. If you're in Montreal & craving authentic Amritsari food made with care, this is an absolute must-visit.
One of the best chole bhature in Montreal. Also tasted Tandoori momos & they were also very good. They gave complimentary gol-gappe paani which was amazing & also gave jalebi for tasting which was also very tasty. Must visit!!
Finally found authentic Delhi-style chole bhature in Montreal! Amritsari Kulcha exceeded expectations. The kulchas were authentic , chole had perfect masala, & their in-house chutneys make the momos & chaat next level.
Don't miss the soya chaap & lassi too. The pani puri is literally to die for. Great portions, great taste, great vibe. Will be back soon!
Highly recommended
Had a great experience at Amritsari Kulcha & Sweets. The Amritsari kulcha was crispy & buttery, & the chole bhature were delicious & filling. Loved the momos & noodles too.
The service was great, staff was friendly, & the food came fresh & hot. Definitely a nice spot for tasty Punjabi food! 😋
f you're in Montreal & craving authentic Punjabi food, you must try the Amritsari Kulcha here! The kulchas are absolutely delicious-crispy on the outside, perfectly stuffed on the inside, & served with flavorful chole with chutney.. It truly tastes just like the famous kulchas from Amritsar.
The portion size is generous, the ingredients are fresh, & the spices are perfectly balanced. Every bite reminds you of authentic street food from Punjab. The owner Moksh is very friendly & the service is quick.
Highly recommended for anyone who loves real Punjabi flavors. Easily one of the best places in Montreal for Amritsari Kulcha! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Our go to place for chole bhature & amritsari kulcha, they serve the best chole bhature in Montreal.
One bite = straight to Punjab 😍
If you're craving the real taste of Punjab, Restaurant Amritsari Kulcha & Sweets is the place to be. The kulcha is perfectly crisp on the outside, soft & flavorful on the inside, finished with melting butter that truly hits the soul.
Paired with rich, slow-cooked chole & a fresh onion salad, every bite feels homemade, hearty, & deeply satisfying.
This isn't just food-it's pure Amritsar vibes on a plate. Simple, authentic, & absolutely unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone who loves desi comfort food done right. 🫶🔥

Amritsari Kulcha & Sweets is a gem for anyone craving authentic North Indian flavors. The moment you walk in, you're greeted with inviting aromas & warm hospitality.
Their Amritsari Kulcha is the star of the show-crispy, buttery, & generously stuffed, served with flavorful chole & refreshing chutneys. Each bite is comforting & perfectly seasoned, just the way true Amritsari kulchas should be.
