The shakshouka was good although not my thing. The kid's meal was amazing especially the pancakes. They are so fluffy. Don't miss that. Everything tasted like it's made in house. The quality punches far above the price point.
The food was good. Service bad & not attentive
Outside sitting nice. Brunch menu is interesting. The service unacceptable. The servers couldn't care less whether the clients are having a good time.
Emplacement , prix & quantité de nourriture impressionnante super service aimable & une ambiance décontractée. J'adore ! Les brunchs par contre se terminent à 11:30 un peut tôt ;-)
Truly the best brunch I've ever had. I'm used to settling for'basic' or heavy food at brunch, but Le 1881 is on another level. I ordered the classic breakfast & was blown away by the freshness of the ingredients; it exceeded every expectation. The prices are fair, the decor is stunning, & for once, I received a perfectly made cappuccino. I dined alone today, but I will definitely be back with friends!
Good was good. Place is modern but a little dark for my taste. Not busy when we went for brunch on a Sunday.

Brunch was fine & reasonably priced but nothing memorable. Food was not terribly hot. Brioches were average. The servers left us alone for a long time even though the place was mostly empty. Portions were on the small side. Decor seemed impersonal & basic. I went because of the fabulous reviews & I don't know what they were on about.
Déjà la 3 ème fois que l'on vient ! Jamais déçu, la qualité des produits & top & les prix très abordables! Le service est irréprochable, merci Éléa, merci au chef pour ce délicieux brunch !
Nous reviendrons très vite.
Restaurant Le 1881 in Montréal is a hidden gem nestled within the MAA Club Sportif on Peel Street. The menu blends refined bistro classics with fresh, seasonal ingredients-standouts include tuna tartare, shakshuka, & salmon eggs Benedict. The ambiance is modern & cozy, making it ideal for brunch dates or casual dinners. Service is warm & attentive, & prices are reasonable for downtown. Though coffee could be better & service can slow during busy hours, overall it's a great spot for quality dining without the fuss. A solid choice for anyone seeking elevated comfort food in a relaxed, stylish setting.
Absolutely wonderful on every level, delicious, wonder atmosphere, absolute must of a brunch destination.
