Ranjy's. I must say their chicken is sooo good. You can taste the seasonings, it's not overpowering that you cannot taste the meat, its just perfect. I am not a meat lover. If I get something that is worth it, I will enjoy it. I must say I did enjoy it! The pieces of meat were HUGE & was extremely crunchy! So so good! The coleslaw & gravy was also very very tasty! I had 2 dips. 1 spicy & 1 mild. Complimented the crunchy chicken very well. This is my second one time buying from here. There would definitely be a third. My family of 5 loves everything from there. A special thank you to DIDI! She was a gem. So kind & friendly. Thank you DIDI for making my second visit a memorable one. You will definitely be seeing us again. My friend loved her wings also ;) May your restaurant be blessed with prosperity & favor. THANK YOU RANJYS. GOD BLESS! ♡♡♡
My spicy chicken sandwich was delicious. Ranjy told me someone complained the day before so if there was anything I didn't like I should call him. Well, the only possible complaint was that there was so much chicken in my sandwich that it was overflowing. I had to share some with my only friend (he's imaginary).
If you are looking to absolutely demolish some heavy, flavor-packed comfort food, Ranjys in the West Island is delivering the goods. Looking at the spread this is pure, unadulterated comfort food fuel. Here is the play-by-play on these four heavy hitters.
?
The Mexican Club: Forget your standard, boring deli-meat club sandwich. This monster features perfectly stacked quarters packed to the brim with intensely seasoned, bright orange shredded chicken, crisp lettuce, fresh tomato, a layer of egg, & a swipe of creamy mayo. The cross-section is a work of art-vibrant, heavily spiced, & absolutely massive. Paired with fries, what's there not to like?!
?Tikka Chicken Poutine:This is a glorious Montreal-meets-South-Asia fusion masterpiece. You've got a flawless blanket of squeaky fresh cheese curds smothered in a rich, deeply savory gravy, all loaded with tender bits of tikka chicken. The sauce-to-curd ratio is heavy & chaotic in the best way possible. It's messy, it's rich, & it hits every single comfort food craving simultaneously.
?
Zinger Ringer: The Zinger Ringer is a beast of a chicken burger. It features a beautifully glossy, brioche bun holding a massive, ultra-thick crispy fried chicken breast, piled high with fresh lettuce & sauce. They even throw a side of pickled banana peppers/jalapenos in the middle to let you add that extra vinegary, spicy kick. It's got massive height, serious crunch, & zero apology.
?
The 3 Piece Fried Chicken: We have the golden-brown standard. This 3-piece fried chicken combo looks incredibly crispy with a deeply craggy, textured batter that guarantees a loud crunch with every bite. The color is a perfect deep amber, showing it spent the exact right amount of time in the fryer. Served with another massive pile of those signature crispy fries, dipping gravy, & cool coleslaw to break up the grease, it's an absolute classic done right.

Ranjys is clearly not playing around with their portions or their seasoning. If you want bold flavors, massive crunch, & a serious food coma in the West Island, this lineup is a certified winner.
They charged $5.99 to make it a combo which includes a drink but didn't give me the drink. They charged that amount for a side of fries. The server was not at all in a mood to work & felt like she was there forcefully & missed to give the drink. I ordered meat lovers burger which had pieces of chicken instead of a whole patty which is very strange didn't make any sense taste wise. The pepperoni had old oil smell. The burger was soggy to that extent, the bun broke in the hand when taken out of the box. The bag also didn't have any napkins inside. There was not a single person inside the restaurant. If they were busy I would have understood. Not sure how they have such a good rating with service & food quality like this. I would not recommend this place - bad customer service, missing item & soggy burger.
Hot, Hot Hot at Ranjy's. Thank you Ranjy for our first meal in Quebec. The instagrams & google reviews were spot on. The customer service was excellent. Ranjy made sure we tested how spicy the wings were going to be. Brought out sample. The mild was too spicy for my Jamaican wife who likes it Hot Hot Hot. Ranjy brought the REAL Heat!!. I order the Meato Burrito. It was Huge!! Delicious!! Everything is made fresh. I can't wait to come back to try his fried chicken. A must stop for a great affordable meal.
