Where ramen and miso meets
Ever since Japan’s Edo period (1600 to 1867 AC), Miso has been known as a healthy and tasty
condiment and has been beloved for generations.
Miso is made with soybeans, rice (or barley in some cases) and salt by being fermented for a certain
period of time. It originated in China, spread to Japan in the 9th century and became known as Miso paste. In the long history of Japan, Miso has been a sufficient protein source, to enhance rice, soup or as a sauce over vegetable side dishes.
As a fermented food, miso is a great source of probiotics or beneficial bacteria, which increases the
health of your gut and enhances your immune system. Miso is also high in protein, in minerals like
manganese and zinc, and vitamin E, vitamin K, various B vitamins, and folic acid.

View more
Flavorful ramen with tasty, hearty broth & generous toppings. Service is quick & friendly. Cozy atmosphere, though it can get crowded during peak hours. Great spot for ramen lovers.View more
I ordered two ramen combos from this restaurant through Uber Eats, but only received one when the delivery arrived. I called the restaurant immediately, & the staff told me to place another order for one ramen combo & said they would contact their boss to send me an e-transfer refund. I followed their instructions, but I never received the money.
The next day, I called again to follow up. A different staff member answered, told me she would speak with the boss, & never got back to me. On the third day, I called once more & was hung up on right after I explained the situation. After that, I haven't been able to reach the restaurant at all-my calls won't go through anymore, & it feels like my number has been blocked.
This is unacceptable customer service & a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend ordering from this place.
Update: After posting this review, the restaurant reached out to me with an apology & an explanation. It turns out the refund via e-transfer was sent to the wrong email address due to a typo on their end. They acknowledged the mistake, took responsibility, & also addressed the poor communication & unprofessional phone response I experienced. They offered a 50% off coupon as a gesture of goodwill, which I appreciate.
While I still believe the situation could have been handled better from the start - especially with clearer communication & follow-up - I do appreciate their effort to make things right after the fact. I've decided to keep the original review up for transparency, but I also want to acknowledge that the restaurant did take ownership & apologized sincerely.View more
I've walked past this unassuming little ramen shop for years. When an old friend said they made the best ramen in town I was eager to try. I'm so glad I did!!I had the deluxe gold, & it was one of the best ramen I've ever had.View more
Regardless of bring about 40 minutes before closing, the wait wasn't bad, & ramen was spectacular. Genuinely the best bowl I've had in a while. Another review said they'd be dreaming about that bowl & I agree. Affordable & filling, we're coming back for sure,& bringing friendsView more
Loved the experience ! Would recommend
Food was good & we felt cozy 😊View more
Our 2 ramen are both delicious, noodle soup is very good also. but some comments are correct online: the restaurant is old, dark & not too clean. The 4 pieces of seaweed was not fresh enough, not crispy, & was already limp. That's it.View more
good ramen for good price. Third time coming here. Definitely recommend getting the ramen with a couple toppings like egg, pork or whatever to make it more interesting (base flavour gets boring after a while) silver shiro spicyView more

Let's start with the food: unreal. The ramen was incredible, very very happy with the food. Then there's the service, the staff there are very friendly, & very accommodating. They went way above & beyond, making it a very welcoming & positive experience. I can't say enough good things about this spot, if you are in the area check it out!View more
The ramen here was spectacular, super filling, & so fresh. I had the vegetarian tan tan miso ramen & I will be dreaming of that broth for years! The staff was friendly & the atmosphere was quaint, there was even anime on the tv!View more
Been going to this place for the last 4 years it's been the best since day one. Also!! The broth doesn't need to be changed, it's prefect the way it is ! (05/09/2025)View more
It was very fast & service was good largely because it was not-busy. The menu is extremely pork-y (one could get vegetarian ramens then add extra ingredients as sides & the takoyaki is decent; but when you're scanning through the menu it feels like 80% pork).View more
My spouse & I are vegetarian & we are always on the hunt for excellent vegetarian ramen. Ramen Misoya hits it out of the park. Every fan of vegetarian ramen should make sure to check out Ramen Misoya when in Montreal. I got the Tantan, my spouse got the silver with an egg. Both were outstanding. Excellent flavor, toppings, noodles, etc. 👌
You have to go down a flight of stairs to get in & we were a bit nervous with our stroller & 5-month old. But the staff was incredibly helpful & it was not a problem at all.
Pretty typical ramen place - not about the ambience, it's about the food.View more
