Our menu was designed & developed by our Executive Chef Koji Zenimaru. We hope you enjoy his offerings created from his personal experiences, life and travels throughout Japan. Ramen Isshin presents you our true authentic tastes of Ramen.
Ramen Isshin earns praise for rich, comforting broth, chewy noodles, tender chashu, and fresh toppings that many describe as homemade in feel, while the service is consistently warm, friendly, and efficient and the atmosphere is cozy and clean even when busy; reviews portray it as a reliable and enjoyable ramen spot with some considering it among the best in the area, though a few notes mention price can be high for the portion and a few bowls may be overwhelmed by garlic oil or lack a bit of depth relative to the very best; vegetarian options are appreciated, portions are generally generous, and seasonal specials keep the menu interesting, making it a frequent pick for ramen lovers in Verdun and beyond.
Ramen is good specially the Kotteri Rich Shoyu Ramen & the Kotteri roasted garlic. Bouncy noodles with rich pork-based soup. Loved the Age Tofu & seafood okonomiyaki. I gave only 4 stars as it is a little bit higher in terms of price compared to other ramen places in Montreal.
Allez-y !

Great & quick service! The workers were extremely helpful & nice. Our food & drinks tasted amazing! Overall the place was really cozy & parking was easy ☺?
Bonne soupe, mais pour le prix, elle est très petite, la soupe contenait 1/2 oeuf ? & très peu de poulet, pour 18,95 avant taxes très dispendieux , rapport qualité prix pas là malheureusement

I would give it a solid 3 out of 5 stars. It's a decent ramen spot overall, but nothing particularly extraordinary stands out about it. The broth was flavorful enough & comforting, especially on a cold day, but it didn't have the deep richness or complexity that makes a bowl truly memorable. The noodles were cooked properly with a good texture, though fairly standard compared to other ramen places in Montreal. This is the first time I had ramen with mung bean sprouts.
The toppings were fresh & well-prepared, but again, pretty typical-nothing that elevated the bowl. Service was friendly & efficient, which definitely added to the positive aspects of the experience. Overall, it's a reliable option if you're craving ramen in Verdun.
Far from being the best ramen in the city imo. The meat portions are pathetic & the rest tastes a little off (smells off too). If you want good ramen in verdun, I recommend Iku ramen.
We came here for late lunch on Sunday. It was cold inside! Freezing! We ordered the shoyu ramen. The garlic oil was tooo much! When I mixed it, the broth became black & bitter. Too bad. I think without th garlic oil , the ramen would have been better.
