At first by the shape of it I thought it would be a NYC bagel where it's more dense & tough to chew,but Oh boy how wrong was I. It's was fluffy/ airy with a good bite.
I was Pleasantly surprised by how good their bagels are.

Great fresh bagels & more. They have a lot of other interesting products besides the wonderful bagels. Friendly staff , I was served by one of the owners, Jodie I think was her name, lovely lady.
I've only been here once while I was visiting family, & it was absolutely amazing, definitely gonna make sure this is a stop every time I'm in Montreal! Bagels were so fresh, just absolutely perfect the staff were so nice & helpful! & I think I accidentally met one of the owners or something & she was so down to earth & nice! Loved my overall experience here, 10/10 would highly recommend this place to anyone going to Montreal! Definitely telling all of my friends when they travel here!
Like Lance said, KISS (keep it simple Stroll) method when it comes to a bagel fresh out of the oven. Cream cheese smear, lox optional. Bliss! Real Bagel is one stop shopping for us for the Jewish holidays. We love the creamy chopped liver with fried onions, the "Homemade" gefilte fish & matzoh ball chicken soup. Maybe a knish or two lol. A choice of pickles rounds out our dinner!
Pretty good bagel, offers fresh ones early in the morning! Good variety as well. Other than bagels, other pastries & bread might be baked somewhere else (still good tho)
