At first by the shape of it I thought it would be a NYC bagel where it's more dense & tough to chew,but Oh boy how wrong was I. It's was fluffy/ airy with a good bite.
I was Pleasantly surprised by how good their bagels are.
Ordered a bagel with cream cheese & discovered the cream cheese was sour & spoiled. I returned right away, but instead of an apology, the staff member was rude & simply refunded me as if I had done something wrong. Very disappointing experience, especially regarding food safety & customer service.
J'y allais étant jeune avec mon père. Nous adorions ce petit moment. & j'y suis retourné dernièrement...même goût, même ambiance. Les meilleurs bagel de loin.
i wonder if the owners realize how tacky it looks to have their two Audis parked on the sidewalk, more or less blocking the entrance to the shop, every morning..? poor form.
I just go for the bagels. People will say that only St-Viateur or Fairmount know how to make Montreal bagels but don't listen to them; these are a bit different (bigger & fluffier) but they're the real deal nonetheless.

I had the pleasure of enjoying one of the most delicious bagels I've tasted in Montreal. The flavor was truly outstanding, with a perfect balance of texture & taste that made it a memorable experience. However, while the quality of the bagel itself was impressive, I believe there is some room for improvement in terms of its shape & presentation. Enhancing these visual aspects could further elevate the overall appeal & reflect the high quality of the product more effectively.
Super Expensive Bagels, 6 Bagels costed $9 + 50cents for brown paper bag….All famous hand made bagels are sold at $6.85-7.29 including bag 😂 & here they are selling at $9.5……. I was super disappointed for 50 cents for paper bag.
Consistently impressed by the quality of food & service. As a happy customer for over 10 years, I've always had the most positive experiences at RBQM! Love their fresh bagels!
