I had a very decent meal in Quartier Perse. The service was well & the atmosphere was pleasant. As you order, a welcome bread & butter platter is served. Bread is not freshly baked but alright. For main course, I ordered lamb shank with bean rice. The quality & portion were great.
Amazing family business, the food is definitely homemade & fresh.
We went for dinner last night with the family & had a wonderful time. We were greeted by our server with a smile & walkthrough of the menu items. We all settled on Kababs (Barg, Joujeh, & Koubideh) served fresh off the grill with generous portions & a basket of toasted pitas. The staff was extremely friendly & regularly checked in on us. I would highly recommend the restaurant to anyone interested in authentic Persian cuisine.
Best Persian restaurant in the city! I have been going to this gem for over 20 years, always fresh, delicious & homemade. Never disappoints. The ice cream is a must too!
We did takeout & since I'm half Iranian & from Toronto where we have the best Persian food, I can say that this is definitely the best koobideh (juicy & tasty) & Persian food in Montreal, we'll definitely be going back, everything was fresh & good quality & tasty, & they were very nice & gave us an extra side complimentary & extra tomatoes. The takeout was packaged very clean & nice & easy to carry out too - it was still juicy & hot & great after driving it home. I'm really happy that I finally tried this place & found a good Persian restaurant in Montreal, the only one I will ever eat at again. I gave it a 5 for Montreal but because it's the best in Montreal, but comparing it to California or Toronto - which has the best Persian food in the world... it would have gotten a 3.5.
