I have ordered so many dishes from Punjab Palace including the bhagan (eggplant), Pindi-masala (okra), tandoori chicken, chilli paneer, aloo gobi (cauliflower) as well as the mango lassi, garlic naan, rice & of course veggie samosas. Such a Gem! Highly recommend for authentic Indian food.View more

We ordered almost half the starter items for our food (Chicken Kebab, Amritsari Fish, Chat Papadi, Pani Puri, Dahi Puri, Aaloo Tikki, Mulgatany Soup). We also ordered Aaloo Paratha & Chilli Chicken later.
The Chat Papdi & Amritsari Fish were to die for. Other foods were pretty good to eat in comparison to other Indian restaurants in the neighbourhood.View more

Chicken samosas with the green sauce were amazingly good & fresh. We told the hostess that we were in a hurry & she made sure we had our meals quickly & paid quickly without sacrificing the service.View more
Item ordered: Lamb Biryani Heat level: spicy So I went for dine in. Ordered lamb biryani, & I was told that it will be spicy, which is ok with me. The portion was good. Meat was tender & in enough quantity according to the good portion. It was also spicy, as I was told while ordering. Now, they did what many other restaurants do with biryani. Mix the rice with the meat/ chicken/ beef curry right before serving. This will always break the rice & make the biryani look wet kinda wet with curry. It wasn't too wet though. I think it wasnt also steamed(dumm) before serving, but thats perfectly ok as it is not advertised as steamed biryani. The rice was all orange, & some what looked like ok quality basmati. The taste was close to dhaba style mutton as it was slightly sour. Not close to what authentic mutton biryani tastes like. I was told their biryani is good but I was disappointed. No one makes biryani like they do in karachi Over all 6/10View more
Excellent butter chicken, fluffy naan, & delicious calamari pakorasView more
Food is very tasty. If you like hot & spicy this is the place. Be aware: spicy is SPICY! My fave is Butter chicken but I also had tandoori which is excellent. Next time I will try the lamb & other curry. My first time here. I will come back for sure. Edit: my son & wife were there, eating butter chicken. They were very sick, bad food poisoning. It was terribleView more

I go have the butter chicken/rice/naan every week & it's always fantastic.View more
Service very slow & only 3 tables occupied but waitress was nice. 2 stars because food went downhill. Ordered chana samosa & we couldn't find a samosa, it was literally half of half a samosa the rest chickpea sauce & not much at that. The lunch spécial was ridiculous. Thali had 3 tiny pieces of butter chicken. Mostly rice & stale salad. The naan was good but its naan. The establishment is run-down. Chairs are old & ripped. Windows are dirty. So sad, its not was it usto be. Quality & quantity down, service down but prices up.View more
This place have the best indian food in MTL! Try the tikka massala chicken, beef kadhai + garlic naan. Only 4⭐? because of the service & the ambiance is bad. They put no music & won't come back to the table to ask if everything ok or give you more water. But you have to go there for the food!View more
Un très beau restaurant indien ! Le classique chicken butter y est délicieux, les samousas (végé ou poulet...) ainsi que les autres plats également ! Belle découverte.
Visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday.
The food was good, we ordered 6 dishes. All of them were delicious & tasty. We ordered the garlic naan which was the best I've ever had so far. Their butter chicken is awesome! Their is no service..they didn't even open the wine for us..they just dropped a wine opener at our table..but that's fine. For the price you're paying, I won't be complaining. Best part is the BYOW!! Will def be back.
