Beautiful old building being covered & squandered by tacky "rock & roll" decorations. No local brews & if I'm paying $11 I would expect a full measure. Guinness was good though
The pub gives off a welcoming atmosphere. We went during the off-season, which was nice as it was not packed. Their poutine with brie & caramelized onions was amazing, & they have a good selection of drinks.

Merci d'avoir reçu nos équipes scentsy avec notre scentsy spirit ! 😇🥰 ce fut une très belle soirée ! Ambiance rustique avec une énorme quitard au plafond 😍 j'ai adorer l'ambiance! Table de pool & tous ! Un merci vraiment spéciale à la serveuse de ce soir ! Tu as donné un très bon service malgré notre belle grosse gang ! 😍 tu étais vraiment sur la coche ! Lâche pas ! 🥰

J'y suis allé pour le Super Bowl. Vieux mobilier & mauvaise ambiance. Pas rénové depuis au moins 20 ans. Mauvais service. Nous avons reçu un plat pour une personne 30 minutes après l'arrivée des plats pour les autres personnes. Aucun rabais malgré leur erreur. Le serveur a dit que la pizza prenait plus de temps à cuire que les autres choses. A éviter à moins de vouloir payer trop cher pour de la Mauvaise qualité. Le proprio mise clairement sur l'immobilier & non son bar qui tombe en ruines. Triste car il y aurait du potentiel...
My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed this pub!! The atmosphere was relaxing, the server was wonderful, & the food was amazing! We will definitely be back! Très bon!!
Our server, Christian, was very attentive & polite. We spoke poor French, & he instantly switched over to English. This was a nice touch. I ordered the flank steak with peppercorn sauce. The steak was so tender that I could cut it with a fork. That's the first time I've been able to do that with any cut that wasn't a filet mignon. My wife got the chicken filet with mushroom sauce, & it was so juicy! The music fit the vibe of the pub perfectly. We are in the city for another week & plan to come back for dinner again.
Fantastic food, great atmosphere & a Cornerstone of old montreal. The staff is exceedingly polite & courteous. I recommend a visit to Pub Saint Paul to any & everybody
Hanni is such an amazing bartender, or should I say MIXOLOGIST. I ask for an aperol spritz & he looked at me & said "I GOT YOU WITH NY PERSONAL TWIST". He then proceed to add grapefruit juice to it. What a delight. Also legbtq2s+++ friendly.
