Welcome to Pub BreWskey, the neighborhood pub in Old Montreal!
Initiated by three friends passionate about gastronomy, beer, and whisky, the BreWskey project came to life in 2015 with the opening of its first establishment. Focusing on our house-brewed beers, a refined selection of whiskies, and comforting pub cuisine, our pub embodies the simplicity of the principle that we offer you the products and service we would appreciate as customers. At the pub, you have access to our on-site brewed beers through 20 draft lines, in addition to a wide selection of carefully chosen whiskies and other premium spirits. Our pub, the most "intimate" among our three locations, provides a warm atmosphere perfect for small groups. In the summer, enjoy our spacious terrace on Saint-Paul Street and soak in the atmosphere of Old Montreal!
Pub BreWskey comes across as a welcoming Montreal spot with a warm, lively vibe and a rustic yet polished setting. The beer program stands out for breadth and creativity, including standout smoothie sours, hazy IPAs, stouts, and rotating house brews, with flights that invite exploration. Food earns high marks too, especially smoked meat poutine, burgers, wings, and thoughtful charcuterie, with generous portions that pair well with the drinks. The staff are repeatedly praised for attentiveness, knowledge, and friendliness, contributing to a relaxed experience whether on the terrace or inside. The venue is versatile, offering multiple spaces and terraces that accommodate groups and casual tastings, and its proximity to Old Montreal adds to the appeal. While some reviews note price or occasional busy periods, the overall impression is that Pub BreWskey delivers high quality beer and food in a memorable Montreal craft beer setting.
This place blew me away. The vibe is super chill & welcoming - perfect for hanging out with friends or just enjoying great beer. I tried two different smoothie beers & both were insanely tasty - fruity, creamy, & unique in the best way. Then I went for four different IPAs, & wow… every single one was hazy, juicy, & just straight-up dope. 🍺🔥
The food was delicious too, way above what you usually get at a brewery. Everything about this spot - from the atmosphere to the drinks to the service - was top-notch.
If you're in Montréal & love craft beer, this place is a must-visit. I'll 100% be coming back! 😍

This is the greatest watering hole of all time. I had my first double smash western burger here & the onion rings were out of the this planet. Please don't waste your time with other bars, you will end up here anyways. The game was on the staff made me feel like family & I plan on spending money here every weekend. Oh yea & the beers are terrific. Try the double framberry the switch the beer menu around, try it before they rotate
Because all they had were stools. There was nowhere to put my purse or coat. The artichoke dip was delicious, the charcuterie board was average with not enough bread (pay for more), & the lobster roll was average.
Everything we drank however was delicious! Our waitress made recommendations, & I loved all 3 things I got, an old rum & a chic choc rum-coke.
Beer was ok; service was adequate; food not so much. We only had appetizers… Spinach & artichoke dip was over cooked. Creole shrimp was extremely overcooked. Decided against having dinner there based on the sub par appetizers. Skip this place.
Lieux magnifique & surprenant, très gentille serveuse, clientèle sympa. Je n ai gouté que les olives mais elles sont très très bonnes! Ca laisse promettre pour les autres mets!!!

This Old Montreal brewery pours thoughtfully crafted beers brewed right behind the bar. We tried a variety of styles & every pour was impressive, loved High Brau & Creme Ale Americaine. The space is relaxed & unpretentious, ideal for conversation & tasting a few different brews. Friendly staff guided our choices & made the visit feel effortless.
Great for beer lovers & casual nights out; perfect for sampling house-brews.
My chicken Caesar salad was good. My wife didn't care much for the smoked meat poutine, said the smoked meat was meh, it really wasn't all that great. Our friend from the States (new to poutine) said the brisket poutine was ok. Quadruple IPA is good. Servers were accommodating & professional. Overall, a decent'tourist area restaurant' experience but I'm not sure I'd return.
We were out enjoying the day, but being a hot summer day we wanted something to cool us down. My wife had looked up BreWskey earlier & saw that they were known for having good smoked meats. Thankfully when we checked the menu we saw they had a salad option so we decided to try them out. The hostess was really friendly & got us seated quickly & wiped our table down. The waitstaff was quick & friendly getting us some waters & talking to us about the beer options on tap. They took our order for the smoked chicken caesar salad & our beers. They came back out with the drinks quickly so we could enjoy them while waiting for the food. I got the'Lots of Riwaka' beer, since it used only the specialty Riwaka hops. Absolutely delicious beer, nice & hazy, one of the better IPAs I've had & will definitely be keeping an eye out for this hop variety. The smoked chicken caesar came out & it was a pretty good size salad, definitely a full meal. The smell of the chicken is great, you can really smell & taste that they do smoke the chicken. It might be a bit strong, but with the caesar dressing in the salad it worked really well. The meat was really tender & the salad greens were fresh & crispy. Very enjoyable experience all around & the out door seating is great.
