About

Welcome to Pub BreWskey, the neighborhood pub in Old Montreal!

Initiated by three friends passionate about gastronomy, beer, and whisky, the BreWskey project came to life in 2015 with the opening of its first establishment. Focusing on our house-brewed beers, a refined selection of whiskies, and comforting pub cuisine, our pub embodies the simplicity of the principle that we offer you the products and service we would appreciate as customers. At the pub, you have access to our on-site brewed beers through 20 draft lines, in addition to a wide selection of carefully chosen whiskies and other premium spirits. Our pub, the most "intimate" among our three locations, provides a warm atmosphere perfect for small groups. In the summer, enjoy our spacious terrace on Saint-Paul Street and soak in the atmosphere of Old Montreal!

At Montreal BreWskey.
Having an Isaria lager (Isaria is a heirloom german malt made by Weyermann), a Kellerbier, a Triple IPA Milkshake, & a sweet imperial stout.
Canadian craft breweries don't know how to make lagers. Both lagers taste estery & ale-like; lagers should be crisp. The Isaria tastes like a blonde ale, the Kellerbier is as far from Franconia as a beer can be; an ok beer to the untrained drinker but an insult to anyone who visited Franconia. The TIPA & the sweet imperial stout are both excellent. The TIPA tastes fresh with plenty of good aromas & flavors, no oxidation & no hop burn. The stout is also extremely well-made, the coco, choc & vanilla come through beautifully.
Advice to brewers: stick to ales, you do them really well. For lagers, you need some brewing training.

Absolutely phenomenal experience at BreWsky in Montréal!

From the moment we walked in, BreWsky had that perfect blend of Montreal charm & laid-back craft pub energy. The atmosphere hits the sweet spot - warm, buzzing, & effortlessly cool, with just enough ambient noise to make the place feel alive without being overwhelming. The decor is rustic yet polished, & the vibe invites you to stay longer than you planned.

Now, let's talk food - the smoked meat poutine is a showstopper. It's a glorious twist on a Montreal classic: crispy fries piled high with tender, smoky, perfectly seasoned meat, rich gravy that doesn't drown but complements every bite, & cheese curds that have that perfect squeak. Every forkful feels like comfort food elevated to an art form.

& the beer? Exceptional. BreWsky's craft selections are varied & creative, with something for every palate - from hop-forward IPAs to smooth, malty stouts. Every pour tastes fresh & expertly brewed. You can tell there's real passion behind every pint.

The service tied everything together - attentive without hovering, genuinely friendly, & knowledgeable about both the menu & the brews. Our server made great recommendations & seemed genuinely excited to share what makes BreWsky special.

Overall, BreWsky isn't just a place to grab a drink - it's an experience that celebrates everything great about Montréal's food & craft beer scene. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it's a must-visit.

Really great beer! The bartender offered to pour us samples of any beers we wanted to try. We ordered their IPA & it was fantastic! Had lots of flavour & the right amount of citrus.

Absolutely phenomenal microbrewery in Montréal!

This place blew me away. The vibe is super chill & welcoming - perfect for hanging out with friends or just enjoying great beer. I tried two different smoothie beers & both were insanely tasty - fruity, creamy, & unique in the best way. Then I went for four different IPAs, & wow… every single one was hazy, juicy, & just straight-up dope. 🍺🔥

The food was delicious too, way above what you usually get at a brewery. Everything about this spot - from the atmosphere to the drinks to the service - was top-notch.

If you're in Montréal & love craft beer, this place is a must-visit. I'll 100% be coming back! 😍

My chicken Caesar salad was good. My wife didn't care much for the smoked meat poutine, said the smoked meat was meh, it really wasn't all that great. Our friend from the States (new to poutine) said the brisket poutine was ok. Quadruple IPA is good. Servers were accommodating & professional. Overall, a decent'tourist area restaurant' experience but I'm not sure I'd return.

We were out enjoying the day, but being a hot summer day we wanted something to cool us down. My wife had looked up BreWskey earlier & saw that they were known for having good smoked meats. Thankfully when we checked the menu we saw they had a salad option so we decided to try them out. The hostess was really friendly & got us seated quickly & wiped our table down. The waitstaff was quick & friendly getting us some waters & talking to us about the beer options on tap. They took our order for the smoked chicken caesar salad & our beers. They came back out with the drinks quickly so we could enjoy them while waiting for the food. I got the'Lots of Riwaka' beer, since it used only the specialty Riwaka hops. Absolutely delicious beer, nice & hazy, one of the better IPAs I've had & will definitely be keeping an eye out for this hop variety. The smoked chicken caesar came out & it was a pretty good size salad, definitely a full meal. The smell of the chicken is great, you can really smell & taste that they do smoke the chicken. It might be a bit strong, but with the caesar dressing in the salad it worked really well. The meat was really tender & the salad greens were fresh & crispy. Very enjoyable experience all around & the out door seating is great.

Solid spot for poutine & beer! Our server said they have the best poutine in Old Port, & I'm inclined to believe her.

Location: at the north end of Rue St Paul. You will see the awning & outdoor seating.

Poutine du chef CAD$29 was excellent. Brisket was on the lean side. Chicken was great. Gravy was the best part.
Smash burger western CAD $26 was massive for a smash. We substituted onion rings for extra $2.
Sevanor was a triple IPA that tasted great & very hoppy. The 16 oz was CAD$10.

Our server was great! She handled all the outdoor tables like a champ. It was busy soon after they opened around 11:30AM.
