Welcome to Pub BreWskey, the neighborhood pub in Old Montreal!
Initiated by three friends passionate about gastronomy, beer, and whisky, the BreWskey project came to life in 2015 with the opening of its first establishment. Focusing on our house-brewed beers, a refined selection of whiskies, and comforting pub cuisine, our pub embodies the simplicity of the principle that we offer you the products and service we would appreciate as customers. At the pub, you have access to our on-site brewed beers through 20 draft lines, in addition to a wide selection of carefully chosen whiskies and other premium spirits. Our pub, the most "intimate" among our three locations, provides a warm atmosphere perfect for small groups. In the summer, enjoy our spacious terrace on Saint-Paul Street and soak in the atmosphere of Old Montreal!
Pub BreWskey shines with a welcoming vibe, inventive in-house brews, and a solid menu of pub favorites like smoked meats, poutine, burgers, and wings, all served by friendly, knowledgeable staff in a lively Montreal setting. Guests praise the varied beer flights, creative tap list, and the relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to linger with friends or enjoy a casual meal, though some reviews note busier times can slow service and occasionally the menu can be a bit confusing.
Came from Ottawa while visiting relatives in Montreal. We had been at the BreWskey Pub in 2023 & absolutely loved the smoked meat poutine. This time around, not so much. Portion size was much smaller, smoked meat was cut into squares, staff was not friendly at all. They couldn't even give you the time of day to make minimum conversation. We will not be going back anytime soon.
We make a point to visit every time we're in Montreal from Toronto-it's a yearly tradition for us. The beers are incredible, & the poutine never disappoints.
Saneyn & Dankalia both took great care of us-friendly, knowledgeable, & clearly passionate about what they do. Everything from the beers to the cocktails & food was excellent.
The patio is fantastic as well-we loved being able to sit outside, even in early April. Already looking forward to our next visit!

We tried three flights of beer, & I think it's safe to say they make some of the best beer in Montreal. The smoked meats Poutine was also on another level. So glad we stopped here, service was super friendly & quick as well!
Amazing beer & incredible poutine! I've had some bad experiences with poutine recently, but BreWskey Pub showed me what great poutine should taste like! Thanks for the amazing food & drinks! Also, the service was excellent. Keep it up & you will have me visit more often…& with more friends every time.
Absolutely phenomenal experience at BreWsky in Montréal!
From the moment we walked in, BreWsky had that perfect blend of Montreal charm & laid-back craft pub energy. The atmosphere hits the sweet spot - warm, buzzing, & effortlessly cool, with just enough ambient noise to make the place feel alive without being overwhelming. The decor is rustic yet polished, & the vibe invites you to stay longer than you planned.
Now, let's talk food - the smoked meat poutine is a showstopper. It's a glorious twist on a Montreal classic: crispy fries piled high with tender, smoky, perfectly seasoned meat, rich gravy that doesn't drown but complements every bite, & cheese curds that have that perfect squeak. Every forkful feels like comfort food elevated to an art form.
& the beer? Exceptional. BreWsky's craft selections are varied & creative, with something for every palate - from hop-forward IPAs to smooth, malty stouts. Every pour tastes fresh & expertly brewed. You can tell there's real passion behind every pint.
The service tied everything together - attentive without hovering, genuinely friendly, & knowledgeable about both the menu & the brews. Our server made great recommendations & seemed genuinely excited to share what makes BreWsky special.
Overall, BreWsky isn't just a place to grab a drink - it's an experience that celebrates everything great about Montréal's food & craft beer scene. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it's a must-visit.
Wir saßen draußen in der Sonne, wurden freundlich bedient und konnte die regionale Spezialität Poutine (und Burger) probieren. War sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

My chicken Caesar salad was good. My wife didn't care much for the smoked meat poutine, said the smoked meat was meh, it really wasn't all that great. Our friend from the States (new to poutine) said the brisket poutine was ok. Quadruple IPA is good. Servers were accommodating & professional. Overall, a decent'tourist area restaurant' experience but I'm not sure I'd return.
Solid spot for poutine & beer! Our server said they have the best poutine in Old Port, & I'm inclined to believe her.
Location: at the north end of Rue St Paul. You will see the awning & outdoor seating.
Poutine du chef CAD$29 was excellent. Brisket was on the lean side. Chicken was great. Gravy was the best part.
Smash burger western CAD $26 was massive for a smash. We substituted onion rings for extra $2.
Sevanor was a triple IPA that tasted great & very hoppy. The 16 oz was CAD$10.
Our server was great! She handled all the outdoor tables like a champ. It was busy soon after they opened around 11:30AM.

The poutine with smoked meat was excellent. Large amounts of cheese & meat! The only negative was our waiter. He seemed very disinterested. He made an art of avoiding eye contact or seeing our waiving hands to call him over.
Nice restaurant. Since main restaurant was full we were sent to the secondary restaurants. It had a nice view of the brewery & cozy area. Poutine was good & so were the drink options. Staff were extremely friendly & helpful. Would visit again.
Employees & service were great but the smell inside made my wife want to throw up. Outside patio is nice. There were no beer flights available when we went & the poutine was terrible. The sauce tasted like it came from a can made my chef boyaredee.
