Welcome to Pub BreWskey, the neighborhood pub in Old Montreal!
Initiated by three friends passionate about gastronomy, beer, and whisky, the BreWskey project came to life in 2015 with the opening of its first establishment. Focusing on our house-brewed beers, a refined selection of whiskies, and comforting pub cuisine, our pub embodies the simplicity of the principle that we offer you the products and service we would appreciate as customers. At the pub, you have access to our on-site brewed beers through 20 draft lines, in addition to a wide selection of carefully chosen whiskies and other premium spirits. Our pub, the most "intimate" among our three locations, provides a warm atmosphere perfect for small groups. In the summer, enjoy our spacious terrace on Saint-Paul Street and soak in the atmosphere of Old Montreal!
Pub BreWskey comes across as a welcoming Montreal spot with a warm, lively vibe and a rustic yet polished setting. The beer program stands out for breadth and creativity, including standout smoothie sours, hazy IPAs, stouts, and rotating house brews, with flights that invite exploration. Food earns high marks too, especially smoked meat poutine, burgers, wings, and thoughtful charcuterie, with generous portions that pair well with the drinks. The staff are repeatedly praised for attentiveness, knowledge, and friendliness, contributing to a relaxed experience whether on the terrace or inside. The venue is versatile, offering multiple spaces and terraces that accommodate groups and casual tastings, and its proximity to Old Montreal adds to the appeal. While some reviews note price or occasional busy periods, the overall impression is that Pub BreWskey delivers high quality beer and food in a memorable Montreal craft beer setting.
The most unique sour beers I've tasted. I believe they add the juice in after the beer has been fermented to make more of a smoothie style beer. Sour yet sweet, too!
Nice atmosphere but rude & inattentive wait staff, & much of the menu is online only. Food was alright, I quite enjoyed my poutine but my partner's chicken sandwich was dry & fries cold. Enjoyable atmosphere & good music but the wait just to get the check was absurd.
If you come for one thing make it the p-nut butter imperial stout. If you like stouts this will blow your mind. Be aware, it sells out fast so you're lucky if you get it. The brew smoothies are really good & one of a kind. Food was decent, taproom has a smaller menu than the pub so go where you think depending on what you're looking.
This place was amazing!! It's small but mighty, & I would strongly recommend reservations. We lucked because there was room at the bar. This place oozes atmosphere & is connected to their tap room, which is significantly larger & more industrial, brew pub modern. They really do an excellent job with their brews, but the food is exceptional! I was tempted by the fish & chips but went with the house smoked ribs. I'm salivating as I write this. I don't want to take away from the excellent service, but the food was amazing!!

Usually we go there & get the onion soup that we love. This time the kitchen was closed, we had the bloody ceasar that was good & the bourbon lemonade that was okay. Will go back when the kitchen is open for sure. The music was loud, the staff was nice enough to lower it when we asked.
Had a great experience at BreWskey Pub!! The gourmet burger was so good! The onion rings that came on the poutine was so crunchy & delicious! Daniel is the best bertender/server in Montreal! Such a great experience. 10/10 would recommend.
