This is a cool bar because it doesn't resemble a pub although it essentially is. Just a very well-dressed up one. The prices are pub-resemblant most importantly. The service is also great. A welcoming place for a short drink or a longer hang.
The size of the beer glasses is insultingly small. I order a 6$ beer & I get what? .15 liters of beer? How does my hand look like andre the giant holding a regular can of beer when i'm just holding a glass from your bar? Atleast disclose that I won't get any beer when I order a beer.

Ben the lunchtime bartender is awesome. He came out from behind the bar to greet my GF & I & was very kind & smiled a lot. We yapped a lot & had a great banter.
The place is perfect for what I like in a bar. It's not a dive bar, but its close. & its certainly not a'nose up' hoity toity spot either. Good sweet spot in the middle where you wouldn't think twice about openly using curse words or ordering food safely. The biggest allure for me was a great pool table & natural sunshine.
The beers come in smaller than usual glasses, but they frozen glasses! I mangled about 4 in thirty minutes & went back to the mural festival outside. Great spot, great bartender. Go. Just go.
Overall on a apprécié notre visite, la bouffe est originale, goûteuse bien que salée, l'endroit est vraiment beau. Toutefois on aurait apprécié pouvoir être assis au bar où on nous a dit non malgré notre réservation, 4 places sont restées libres tout le long de notre visite. J'ai pas vraiment compris pourquoi la jeune fille m'a enlevé mon verre d'eau avec glace qui n'était pas terminé & ne m'en n'a pas rapporté un autre quand je lui ai signifié. On nous a servi de la pizza brûlée & après l'avoir dit à 2 serveurs tout ce qu'on a eu c'est un haussement d'épaules. Le cherry coke goûtait l'eau malheureusement.
This is a nice spot. Subtle 70s vibe but not over the top. The bar is in the middle & there are seats all around. Drinks were very small! I ordered bloody ceasars off menu & they were really good but cost me $15 each. Overpriced! They had too much ice. Food was very good. Particularly the fried olives. The pretzel was also good. The hotdog was excellent but small & overpriced. The fried cheese was fantastic & had a great pull. I felt like everything was a little too salty but my friend had sweet drinks so she felt like it was fine. Anyway, good vibe. I have no doubt they will continue to succeed in this location.
Omg quel endroit incroyable!!! La bouffe est absolument délicieuse & décadente. Je n'ai que des gros coups de coeur pour tout ce que j'ai mangé. (Salade César, bâtonnets de fromage, steak frites, olives frites, cornichons sur glace) WoW WoW WoW. Le service au bar était impeccable !!! Ambiance bouffe & super beau bar!!! J'y retourne sous peu. 🥰
Énorme coup de coeur pour ce pub qui n'est vraiment pas un pub ordinaire. Tout est maison, tout est réfléchi, & ça paraît dans chaque assiette.
Les bâtonnets de fromage… complètement malade (dans le bon sens). Clairement les meilleurs que j'ai mangés. J'en rêve encore! La pizza croûte extra mince avec les dips pour tremper, simple en apparence, mais exécuté à un autre niveau. C'est le genre de détail qui fait toute la différence.
J'ai aussi pris le steak avec frites & salade César : cuisson parfaite, sauce ultra savoureuse, & la César maison… sérieusement, j'y pense encore. Les frites avec la mayo maison, c'est le genre d'affaire que tu continues de piger dedans même quand t'as plus faim.
La cuisine ouverte ajoute vraiment quelque chose, tu vois l'équipe rouler ça solide, le chef & l'équipe en cuisine savent clairement ce qu'ils font.
Assise au bar, service impeccable. Une équipe efficace, naturelle, sympathique qui rend l'expérience encore plus le fun. Les cocktails sont aussi réussis que la bouffe, ce qui est loin d'être donné partout. Très fan du daiquiri classique, du lemon drop & du margarita épicé.
Ambiance vivante, playlist parfaite, rien de forcé, juste un endroit où tout est bien aligné.
Bref, c'est devenu un classique instantané. Déjà hâte d'y aller chaque semaine!
Cute new place, I hope they do well. The cheese sticks were insane (heavenly cheese pull) & pool was cheap (two bucks!)
However, I ordered a Guinness & had to laugh because what the heck is this pour 😭 I should've said something, so that's on me. Definitely gotta work on that though, I feel like the bartender might've poured this in one go, not really sure what happened here.
