The service was friendly & receptive. The ambiance was relatively nice & decor was pleasant. We will definitely be back for more!
On November 1, 2025, we had a birthday party at Prima Luna. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The food quality has gone down a lot. The soup was extremely salty, the Veal Parmigiana was not good at all, & the steak was overcooked. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Very disappointed overall.
Prima Luna is an elegant Italian restaurant in Pointe-aux-Trembles, perfect for special occasions. The ambiance is classy, with great music & stylish décor. The menu features high-quality pasta, pizza, seafood, & even sushi - all beautifully presented.
Service is attentive & professional. Prices are on the higher side, but worth it for the overall experience. Great spot for a romantic dinner or celebration.
We went to Prima Luna for Wednesday AYCE sushi. I didn't know what to expect but we had heard good things so decided to try it for my wife's birthday. We were blown away. From people who have been to Japan before, the level of freshness of the sushi was almost on par with eating it there. They did not have a ton of options (about 1 page) but every single roll we ordered did not disappoint. It was truly quality over quantity & that is completely fine. The only thing I would say could be a small improvement is for PL to slightly increase the base price for sushi night & include some szechuan dishes in there. Each dish was beyond delicious but must be ordered à la carte on top of the sushi so the bill began to bloat quickly. Especially since my wife does not eat fish so her options were limited without adding two dishes for about $20 each. The service was excellent & maintained the high quality you expect from an upscale Italian establishment. Overall, I would highly recommend Wednesday sushi at PL for those who prefer high quality mainstays like California & Dragon Eye over crazier options you could find at other places like Tenzo or Kanda.
Went for family birthday party. It was a busy Saturday night with most tables being parties of 8 & more. There was live music & a live performer but it was hard to tell if he was singing or just mouthing the words to the music. But it made for a lively atmosphere. The service was excellent & all waiters were very attentive & professional. There is a nice variety of typical italian dishes & an extensive Shezuan menu as well. The food was very good & fresh.
Raw Oysters: 5/5
Calamari: 4/5
Grilled octopus: 4/5 (small portion bu tasty)
Veal: 5/5
Pasta Bolognese: 4/5
The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food. You can pay a lot more for worse italian food in a lot of other places. Definitely a great place for friend & family gatherings.
Service is very bad. It take forever to get a bill & with mistake. Bad quality of service. Music too loud. Feel like in a club while you trying to eat a good dinner???wtf.
The service & food quality were excellent. The main meal was served rather late.
