Our first visit to Premier Maisson in St. Laurent.
The Saint-Laurent location is spacious & well-lit.
Staff were polite , helpful & friendly!
If you're craving a traditional Opéra cake with rich coffee & chocolate flavors, this is one of the more reliable options available in Montreal's commercial bakeries.
Great presentation. Neat layers & glossy chocolate top.Moist sponge, not overly sweet.

Ça fait plusieurs années que je fréquente cette boulangerie & à chaque fois je suis super bien servie! J'ai décidé de faire cet avis, mon premier à vie, car j'ai été choquée par une cliente hier qui s'est mis à crier sur le personnel & à les traiter de racistes. À cette dame, si jamais elle tient les propos qu'elle a avancé & vient placer un commentaire négatif: en 7 ans de fréquentation de ce lieu, JAMAIS on ne m'a traité différemment parce que j'étais voilée! Bien au contraire, les employés nous informent quand un aliment contient de l'alcool, gélatine, porc, etc (merci d'ailleurs à Claudia qui m'aide souvent). Je tiens à demander à Première Moisson, d'intervenir pour mieux protéger ses employés de clients fous qui peuvent, on l'espère pas, devenir violents!View more

Stacked eclaires on top of each other Instead of using a bigger box & ruining the glaze. The point of the base is to prevent contact with the surface but then you place that same base on top of another eclaire spreading whatever.View more

I used to like that place. Today I had hot chocolat & packed croissant buns. Chocolat was far to be hot, mild, & not made from real chocolat. The buns were old & hard to eat. I hope next time my experience will be better.View more

Always a great selection however the quality is lacking in certain areas. The bread is good & the selection of ready made meals is great but the pastries & cakes are nothing special. Especially when considering how expensive they are.View more
