It has that perfect crusty exterior & a soft airy center that is hard to find these days. The staff was efficient even though there was a bit of a lineup, & everything felt very fresh. It is definitely going to become my regular spot for picking up a quick loaf or a morning pastry before heading to the office.
Honestly one of the better spots for a quick lunch in this neighborhood. I ordered one of their sandwiches on a baguette & the bread was incredibly fresh. It is nice to have a reliable place where the ingredients taste authentic & the staff is genuinely friendly. I have never had an issue with the service here, & I find the pricing to be quite fair for the quality they provide. I will certainly be returning next week for another treat.
I am a bit of a bread snob, so I am quite picky about where I buy my supplies. This boulangerie consistently delivers excellent results across their entire range of products. Whether you are looking for something sweet for a treat or just a basic loaf for sandwiches at home, they have plenty of options. The atmosphere is inviting & the smell of fresh baking when you walk through the door is just fantastic. Highly recommended for anyone nearby.
Delectable desserts, nice selection of sandwiches & salads everything was fresh & visually appealing. Wished we had the time & stomachs to try more!
The first thing that matters to me in any store is not only the quality of the products, but especially how the staff treat customers.
Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience at this bakery. A saleswoman behaved in a very rude & impolite way toward us simply because my mother was recording a short video. Her attitude was disrespectful & unprofessional, & it made us feel very uncomfortable.
Even if the bread & other products may be fresh or of good quality, customer service is far more important to me. Respect & proper treatment should always come first.
Because of this experience, I will not return to this store, even though it is very close to my home. I would rather go to another branch where customers are treated with courtesy & respect.
Première Moisson has a beautiful selection of artisanal breads, & I will say the quality of the baked goods is quite good. However, the overall experience leaves much to be desired.
The coffee is underwhelming-bland & not worth the price. While the bread is fresh & well-made, the pricing across the board feels high for what you actually get. There isn't much value when you consider portion sizes & quality relative to the cost.
It's also consistently busy & disorganized. The ordering system feels chaotic, with long lines, unclear direction, & a lack of flow that makes the experience stressful rather than enjoyable.
Overall, it has potential, but for now, it feels more like style over substance.
I was disappointed with my visit. The almond croissant lacked freshness & quality, & the cashier's unfriendly attitude made the experience unpleasant. I hope the service & quality improve in the future.
This particular première moisson has a lemon square cake that I love. Their pastries are always fresh, & the location looks like an older place which I like a lot. Unlike the côte-des-neiges location which is more modern, which I also like. The staff are friendly & professional. They know their products well enough to explain them to you if it's your first time. Allergies & dietary restrictions are taken into consideration with many of their food items, just ask the staff they'll inform you.
