As a foreigner, one wants to know what this Poutine is all about, so I went to this place. Inside the place it does not look appealing at all. A lot of ‚Student Specials' are advertized & there is a cupboard full of board games... really, in a restaurant?! The furniture, 2 giant TV-screens with some sport channel on display & the atmosphere overall reminded me of a waiting room in a hospital or public area. Plenty of choices on the menu & the prices are very reasonable. I ordered the ‚Classic'... came quite quick. Taste-wise, I found the gravy kind of salty. The cheese is tasteless. Personally, I would not return to this place (unless you're a student & want to take advantage of their specials).
We were super excited to try this place as the reviews were overall positive. We walked in, & did not feel welcomed at all. The server hesitantly came over & plopped menus on the table & said she'd be back for our drink & food orders. There was one table of 6 in there besides us, that's it so it wasn't overly busy. About 15 mins later she came back over & took our orders. After about another 25 minutes, our poutines came out, & although they looked appealing to the eye, tasted only mediocre. The gravy was wildly salty & it just wasn't enjoyable. Pictured below is the Hat Trick Poutine. Maybe we just need to try something different?
Superbe expérience culinaire à essayer à tout prix si tu es un fan de poutine ! J'ai pris une poutine pour emporter & rendu chez moi, tout était encore chaud, & c'était tout aussi délicieux que si j'avais mangé sur place. Les portions sont toujours ultra généreuses & la nourriture toujours super bonne, je n'ai jamais été déçue avec ce Poutineville. C'est sûr que je continuerai à venir !
POUTINEVILLE un excellent endroit pour mangé, avec beaucoup de choix de poutines. Une belle salle à manger avec beaucoup de jeux de société. Vraiment agréable. Nous avons pris China General tao poutine elle étais juste excellente!!!! Bien garnis avec une saveur très développer. Je recommande cette place
We found the Hangover poutine extremely salty & unfortunately couldn't continue eating after a few minutes in. The bbq wings were decent, crunchy batter with just a tad too much smoked flavor added. Great atmosphere with dark tavern vibes & even a bookcase of classic & modern boardgames & card games. Seems they treat students well too with discount promotions & they have a weekday happy hour discount 3-6pm. I wouldn't return tho because of the overwhelming saltiness in their poutine.
The traditional sauce at all Poutinvilles is gluten free! I'm celiac, I've eat there many times & never had an issue. It's one of the only places in town for a gluten free poutine & it's delicious.

Oh wow! Do not walk, run to get the BUTTER CHICKEN POUTINE! It is so good! Portion is great, full of sauce & flavor! Yum! Get it, you won't regret it! Greek salad is also a 10/10. Don't bother with the Philly cheese steak though.
They have a small patio that could seat 2 groups in the front. As I wanted to try a different poutine experience, I ordered take out from this place. I tried their signature Poutineville poutine. It was very hot when received, so I would recommend bringing a bag to carry it with. The poutine was nice, with an abundance of sauce & what seemed like beef brisket meat. The gravy had a stronger flavor than most I have tried but was a bit lacking on the cheese. Would try their other selections next time!
Aucun service en français, j'ai demandé une grande mac & cheese, j'ai eu une petite & c'est rien se qui donne pour 20$ en plus le temps d'attente est vraiment long
Visit: June 2024 The poutine was pretty average; I just had the regular poutine. A good amount of squeaky cheese curds & the gravy was beefy, but the fries were a bit overcooked & had a bit of a burnt taste

Service & atmosphere we gave a 5 because I can imagine it's amazing. We got it from skip the dishes & typically poutine is mediocre BUT holy smokes it was great! Burger was AMAZING, hot dog was delicious. Overall would 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting or just looking for a good place to eat
Great atmosphere, food & services. We travelled from Vancouver & Seattle & already visited twice because we absolutely loved the poutine here. The restaurant has a variety selection of poutines that cannot be tasted elsewhere. A must visit place if you want to try something that is only available in Quebec province.
