Display Allpoutine(180) burger(27) fries(22) sauce(21) cheese(17) recommend(12) frite(12) gravy(9) classic(8)The poutine was beyond mid even bad at sometimes we got the extra cheese to taste the average poutine which should taste good to mid as a classic in quebec here the fries were soggy & the cheese wasn't up to the task at hand it was small & didn't melt at times so it was hard to eat without scooping the whole thing in your mouth It costed around 30 something or 40 for two poutines regular size. The chairs were horrible!!! My back ached & I couldn't eat at some point because of the horrible pain of the awarkard seats. Overall felt like a horrible experience & a waste of money & time. The only redeemable thing was the staff the staff were amazing & kind thank you guys for making the experience somewhat enjoyable & sorry for the bad review.View more
We found this place on our way to look for a local lunch. They have amazing poutine, everyone ordered a different kind to try & were all very satisfied. The also have great burgers & smash burgers, all the ingredients taste very fresh, & their burger sauce is delicious. They make very real, natural, & tasty fries. They don't have gluten free buns or bread, but most of their poutines are gluten free if you don't mind cross contamination. All in all, great lunch, the wait time was good. Our appetizers of coleslaw & fries came after about 10 minutes, the poutine came before 20, & the burgers came around 30. This was great considering we were a large group & there were a sizeable amount of other people also in the restaurant.View more
Reviews were good so we tried it out. We ordered takeout, two poutines & a burger. Burger was very good but poutine was a letdown. We ordered a large & the box was stuffed 97% with fries with only a bit of cheese sprinkled on top, & it was dry because there was not enough gravy. The small poutine we ordered was decent & proportions of cheese/fries/gravy were normal. Probably wouldn't go back.View more
The Small order of French Fries was really big!
My wife & I shared our fries them with her uncle last weekend while totally enjoying our burgers (cheese, cheese & bacon, smash) next to a freshly delivered pallet of 700lbs of potatoes.
Perfect blanching. Perfect re-fry & seasoning.
Cooked in beef fat the way they should be.
No trace of old, dirty oil stank like most poutine joints, & not a spot of grease left on the checker paper when we finished. 👊
Those were some of the best fries I've ever eaten. Perfect.
Bravo.View more
Do not understand why burgers don't come with fries?! Good fried pickles, not so good fries… & not the friendliest staff… they at least have beyond meat!View more
Went back again for a second time &, even if all the ingredients are there, fries cheese, presentation, quantities among other, something is missing. I was expecting the sauce & the overall dish to be more tasty & nope.View more
We came here on Friday December 20th in the early evening & ordered to go. The place was empty - we initially wanted to order online but noticed the menu was different, less selection, so came in person. We tried one of their smashburgers & a poutine which featured cheese curds, as well as cheddar cheese, green onions & sour cream. The food was delicious but my only complaint is the very small portion size & high price. The burger by itself is over $10 & is super thin - I understand the concept of smash burgers but was surprised it did not come with fries or a drink for that price. The poutine I chose was a "regular" size but felt like a small. The food is also packaged in these cardboard take out boxes which are not lined or waxed so unfortunately most of the sauce absorbs through the paper. There are lots of different container options such as alimunium or waxed cardboard that can be used which would be a more ideal choice especially for poutine. This is just bad planning.View more
The gravy on the poutine was very wet, like a soup. Fries were a bit overcooked. Similar prices to la banquise but the portions are a bit smalleView more
Good prices, gravy & cheese are spot on but the fries were just a tad fried for too long ( had the classic poutine)View more
If you are in the area & are craving a montreal classic (poutine), this is a good place to start. The selection is amazing. The service was fine . The restaurant is well decorated & clean. It's a semi open concept, meaning you can see the cook preparing your food. Which is a good bonus for me. Now for the negative. We did need to wait a little for our food, granted that 8 people went in ahead of us, & we all ordered at the same time. So, I'm not knocking it for that. For some reason, the guy at the front was doubling as a cashier & cook at the same time & worked alone for a while. (We went in close to lunch time. There is no reason for only one employee to be there). Another issue that we experienced was overcooked fries. This issue will usually make a break a poutine, but since the rest of the poutine was well topped & the gravy was food it ended up being passable. I am willing to try this restaurant again to see if the overcooked fries were a result of being flooded with customers.View more
Loved this place. Plenty of Poutine variations, fries were still crispy, curds tasty, combinations galore- all that you'll love about trying poutine for the first time. Much more on the menu that I didn't have the space to try but definitely a staple of MontrealView more
I had poutine with smoked meat & I really enjoyed it! Crispy fries, tasty sauce, a few slices of pickle - everything made for a perfect Montreal poutine. Will definitely go back.View more
Many options to choose from but of course I had to get the classic. I wasn't impressed, I thought the sauce was bland & the fries were overcooked/mushy. Better than anything you can get out of province, but that's a low bar. The portion was big, but it was also just over 20$ after tax, which I find is way too much for a poutine, let alone a mediocre one.View more
Burger was okay but fries were ridicoulsly all tiny. Practically had to eat with a spoonView more
I tried poutine for the first time. I didn’t really liked it (that’s just my opinion) but my parents really liked it. It tasted like fries in sauce.View more
Love trying new poutine places, this one now ranks at the top of my list. I had the smoked meat poutine & the fries & everything was amazing. The falafel I ordered was also really good, didn't think salad could be so good.
