There should be more sauce options & the Honey Chipotle is not that good at all. The spicy mayo so far is the best choice & only choice so far :)
I was once a devoted fan of Poulet Rouge. From the very first visit, their fresh ingredients, flavorful marinades, & vibrant sauces had me hooked. I tried them at several locations & found the experience consistently satisfying. But lately, something has shifted - & not for the better.
Over time, the quality of the food seems to have declined. The portions have gotten smaller, which could be forgiven if the taste still held up - but unfortunately, that's not the case. The tzatziki sauce, once a refreshing & creamy highlight of the bowl, now has a strange, off-putting flavor that feels like a shadow of what it used to be. It's lost the tangy balance & freshness that once made it stand out.
I say this not out of criticism for the sake of it, but out of genuine care. I love Poulet Rouge - or at least what it used to be. I truly hope they return to the quality & flavor that made them special. Because if they do, I'll be first in line.
My first time trying Poulet Rouge. I thoroughly enjoyed it & will take out again. I had the lemon chicken & the lime cilantro sauce.
Been here many times & uber eats it many times, always delicious & i love that they are generous on the sauce. Friendly service.
Just ordered on UberEats - tzatziki is no longer a free sauce option. With this in mind, I ordered my bowl with NO SAUCE from the options listed, added tzatziki as an included topping, & then another additional cup on the side. Tzatziki is a white sauce. I picked ingredients that went with tzatziki & not another sauce. So tell me why my bowl had a full layer in the middle of some sort of red sauce? I didn't order this - in fact, I very literally did not want this. I realize what my name is & because of that, I'm really reluctant to voice any negative opinions of any business. I've worked in food service & have been on the other side of things. However, I paid almost $30 for a bowl that was supposed to last me for 2 meals & it's full of a sauce I didn't choose & don't want. Why is'NO SAUCE' an option if one is just going to be added to the order anyway? It makes no sense.
We were at St. Mary's hospital for an emergency stay & decided to get something to eat near the area. Hubby found this restaurant & decided to give it a try. We ordered the Rouge Bowl All Dressed. The order came with a choice of grilled chicken flavour, served on a base of brown rice & bulgur wheat, with a spicy mayonnaise & Tzatziki sauces & garnished with tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, bell peppers, corn & Monterey Jack cheese. I have heard of this restaurant but never had an opportunity to try it out. I am glad I did. It did not disappoint.
Gonna start by saying the food is great but, this keeps happening... Ordered 2 salads, one has normal sauce quantity, the second doesent have enough... I keep having to get extra sauce & I end up paying an extra 2$ for this error. Not cool... please standardize these. We keep fighting over the big sauce & loser keeps eating bland salad ☹️
Great food, great people, we order very often. Only issue is how inconsistent the sauce you get is. We order almost weekly, & every time it's a gamble. Either you get a full cup of sauce, & it's enough for your food, or you get half or less than that amount, & it's not enough. We can't even order extra sauce because if theyre full cups, then it's too much sauce. I may seem like I care too much about this, & trust me, I do.
