Meilleur poulet sur charbon de bois au monde!
Best chicken on charcoal
I got my tires changed across the street & noticed Gabi here at poulet Mankal has great reviews surrounding his grilled chicken, so I had to try. Had a quick chat with Gabi while eating, & you can tell that working 7 days a week for over 31 years, he cares a lot, & it shows in the food! Ordered a Demi-poulet & it was fantastic, & he brought it over as he saw I was taking a call & couldn't come get it. Thanks again Gabi!
Amazing food ! Best chicken in the area & their garlic is to die for... also their tabboulé is very juicy 👌
We ordered grilled chicken & it was good the only think it's only chicken wrapped in bread & garlic sauce only !! It was delicious but I wish if he put more garnish like salad , Tourshi etc.....& we had to order fries on the side @ extra charge!!
Uncle Gaby is very welcoming & a great service provider, all sandwiches are freshly made to order, all food looks good & tastes even greater, there is no way so far that any Lebanese sandwich shop could compete with them so far, I got Rosto (roast beef), djej (chicken), Qasbeh (Liver) & N5a3at (brain?) not sure if I translated the last one right, the sandwiches took me back on a light trip to Lebanon & brought back memories of Beirut local sandwich shops! I loved all 4 sandwiches & it kept me asking for more, unfortunately I was full later on! I would highly recommend all Lebanese visiting Montreal for leisure or business to stop by Poulet Mankal, PS It is one of the oldest sandwich shops in Montreal as far as I know & uncle Gaby Sassine has been mastering Lebanese sandwiches & garlic spread for more than 30 years! a MUST STOP.
