Review Summary

Potager Mont-Rouge Halte Gourmande comes across as a family friendly farm market and dining spot with a large selection of local and homemade products, from fresh vegetables and fruits to breads and apple treats, all praised for quality and variety. Reviewers highlight an on-site epicerie, the option to pick-your-own apples and strawberries, a playground and animals for kids, and a peaceful setting that makes it a great stop for families and longer visits. The atmosphere is described as welcoming with friendly staff, and there are plenty of picnic tables, outdoor activities, and a well organized farm layout. Visitors can dine on site or stock up at the boutique, and there are activities for children that keep them entertained. Some notes include busy days with crowds and occasional confusion for first-time visitors, and while most fruit and vegetables are highly regarded, produce quality can vary with season. Overall the place is valued for its family friendly charm, seasonal produce, and the chance to spend a relaxing day or overnight in a rural setting.

We absolutely loved this place! We stayed one night in our RV & it was very peaceful & quiet at night. There's a hill with a statue of the Virgin that looks beautiful when it's lit up in the evening.

I 100% recommend not bringing fruits or vegetables & instead buying everything there - the fresh produce they sell is delicious! I also highly recommend getting the apple juice - I bought 4 liters & wish I had bought more! I also tried their apple cake, which was really good too.

They have lots of fresh vegetables, & it's such a nice place overall. We stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer. There are also animals for kids to visit & a playground, which makes it a great & fun stop for families.

We truly loved it! 🍎🐑🚐

We went for strawberry picking today. The kids love the tractor riding & the strawberry eating picking. I love their fresh apple juice.

Nice place! Too busy to my liking but the staff is lovely & the kids had a blast (11 & 8). Two types of apples were left at that time of the year.
